We study the structure of a laser field in a focus optical system with a parabolic mirror. Description of fields is based on the representation of the solution of the boundary problem for non-stationary wave equation for the vector potential in the form of the generalized Kirchhoff integral. Options are considered axisymmetric and off-axis position of the mirrors. The resulting intensity distribution is compared with the intensity distribution in the caustic waist of the Gaussian beam. The linear change in the halfwidth of the intensity distribution in the focal plane depending on the ratio parameters of a parabolic mirror is obtained.

The results are interesting as a development of papers [1-3], considering the energy spectra of electrons accelerated by a laser pulse and the possibility of based on them determining peak intensity.
