Abstract: this article deals with essence of independent work of students in the educational process. It also deals with some requirements for the organization of independent work of students. The author of this article pays attention to the effectiveness of independent work of students.

Keywords: independent work of students, professional activity, educational material.

The daily, systematic work of students on a foreign language, directed by the teacher in terms of its content, form, methods and methods of implementation, is now becoming an urgent necessity, otherwise the efforts of students and teachers will be equally in vain, will not give the desired results. It is necessary to note the students' independent works as a specific form of educational activity, which plays a significant role in raising the level of educational and cognitive motivation. In addition, the level of mastering foreign language requires the teacher to pre-teach their methods, forms and content of this work. The main task of higher education is the formation of a creative personality of a specialist capable of self-development, self-education, and innovation. The solution of this task is hardly possible only by transferring knowledge in ready-made form from the teacher to the student. It is necessary to transfer the student from the passive consumer of knowledge to the active creator who knows how to formulate the problem, to analyze the ways of solving it, to find the optimal result and to prove its correctness. Analysis shows that independent work still does not have the proper organization, and professional self-education as an important factor in shaping the personality of the future specialist does not take the appropriate place in its preparation.[1,384.] The study of the real state of independent work indicates that students have little knowledge of general educational skills and skills: note-taking, reviewing, analysis and synthesis of reading material. With independent study of educational material and primary sources, students find it difficult to identify the main, basic, in the formulation of conclusions, in the formulation of their opinions, their evaluation of reading material. Active independent work of students is possible only if there is a serious and steady motivation. The strongest motivating factor is the preparation for further effective professional activity. The essence of independent work, in our opinion, consists in the self-organization of an understanding of the studied material extracted from various sources, in building the student's own point of view, his attitude to the studied, in determining the practical significance of the material studied. The organization of independent work begins, first of all, with:

S determining the content and volume of independent work for each course;

S establishing a certain dose of material for self-study in each topic for a specific period of time;

S determining the content of the workshop on the formation of the student's self-study skills;

S with an introductory lesson, during which the student gets acquainted with the program and the nature of the tasks, with the requirements that are required for independent work.

Practice shows that the education of a creative specialist is impossible without mastering the theoretical foundations of disciplines, developing students' ability to operate theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, and to use them in solving professional problems. The student should be able to answer the questions, understand the proposed situation, determine the ways out of it, review or prognosticate the monograph, article, direct observation of the production processes during the practice. The variety of tasks for independent work, giving them not only information, but also a professional orientation, establishing a close connection between theory and engineering practice, is the incentive that motivates the development of skills and abilities of independent work and facilitates the restructuring of the student's personality structure into the personality structure of the specialist. The effectiveness of the student's independent work as a criterion of the quality of the pedagogical management of the educational process is determined by its development in two ways:

S in the level of mastering the student's self-training ability to navigate in situations modeling future professional activity through task situations, special exercises, in using theory to solve practical standard tasks;

S the degree of involvement of students in research activities through the performance of non-standard tasks and tasks of increased complexity and in real production practice with the maximum use of life experience of students, orienting them on future professional activity.

The effectiveness of independent work of students is largely determined by the presence of active methods of its control. This emphasizes the importance of the organizing and governing functions of the teacher and, at the same time, the need to comprehend the students who study themselves as genuine subjects of academic activity.

Abstract: the author deals with the role of games in teaching English. . Here is said that games enrich the students with new impressions, activate the vocabulary. The author pays attention to organizing different games during the lessons.

Keywords: new impressions, different language skills, master, psychological mechanisms.

Games allow a differentiated approach to students; involve every student in the work, taking into account his interests, inclination, level of language training. Exercises of the game character enrich the students with new impressions, activate the vocabulary, and develop different language skills. They can be diverse in their purpose, content, ways of organizing and conducting. With their help, you can solve any one problem (improve grammatical, lexical skills, etc.) or a whole complex tasks: to form speech skills, to develop
