THE ROLE OF SEWERAGE SYSTEMS IN WATER SUPPLY

Three types of wastewater (domestic, industrial, rain, etc.) are called sewage systems..

2- Figure. Completely detached system Sewage systems are divided into the following types: general, fully separated, partially separated, partially separated and combined.
In the general drainage system, there is a single underground sewer system and all types of wastewater are discharged together. In order to reduce the diameter of the main collector, rainwater drainage wells will be constructed to discharge wastewater into the reservoirs during heavy rainfall (Figure 1). A completely separate sewer system will have several sewer lines. There are at least two of these, and each network is designed to discharge a specific type of water (Figure 2).
In this system, if it is not possible to discharge conditionally clean rainwater and industrial wastewater from a single pipe, together with domestic and industrial wastewater, then the industrial water is discharged to local treatment plants through independent pipes.

A complete sewerage system is a single sewer system that discharges polluted domestic and industrial wastewater, and contaminated industrial wastewater is predisposed of to local treatment plants. Rain and melted snow are discharged into open ponds, ditches, canals, ponds and ravines.
The semi-detached sewage system consists of two sewer lines, one for domestic and industrial wastewater and the other for stormwater runoff, which has a common main collector (Figure 3). In this system, the rainwater network is connected to the general main collector by a special water distribution chamber. It discharges all domestic and industrial wastewater, melted snow, rain and a certain amount of rainwater to the treatment plant. Combined system. In this system, part of the city is connected to the general drainage system, and the other part is connected to the sewer system. If the system is a public drainage system in large cities, it will be the result of the reconstruction of the sewerage system.
In summary, waxy sewer systems maintain a high level of sanitation in general sewer areas and water bodies.
