Programmable logic controller (PLC) plays an important role be it in the field of automation or in every era. industrial or educational purposes. As the demand for automation grows exponentially, control systems must be easy software, flexible, reliable and affordable. This article provides an overview of PLC application in automation, industry and education. This article reviews the research on the role of PLC in automation, industry and education goals. PLC has its limitations, but studies show that its benefits far outweigh its limitations. It will appear after the survey PLC can be used in any application, whether simple or complex control systems. THE ROLE OF PLC IN AUTOMATION SYSTEM INDUSTRY

Аннотация: programmable logic controller (PLC) plays an important role be it in the field of automation or in every era. industrial or educational purposes. As the demand for automation grows exponentially, control systems must be easy software, flexible, reliable and affordable. This article provides an overview of PLC application in automation, industry and education. This article reviews the research on the role of PLC in automation, industry and education goals. PLC has its limitations, but studies show that its benefits far outweigh its limitations. It will appear after the survey PLC can be used in any application, whether simple or complex control systems. PLC is a unique type of microprocessor based controller. It consists of memory that can be programmed to accumulate and perform tasks such as timing, logic, arithmetic, counting, and sequencing, as shown in Fig 1.

PLCs are designed and used by engineers to process and control machines with narrow computer information programming. The same PLC unit can be used to control different systems after each scan. Programmable logic the controller can be considered a special computer for industrial use. It does not affect vibration, noise, heat humidity. This can be just automatic with an easy coding language that mostly involves logic and switch operations. A PLC consists of hardware and software systems for standard I/O or multiple I/O systems. PLC does it is also used in analog or digital control systems [2]. PLC is the control center of various automation systems and processes. They contain multiple inputs and outputs that use transistors and other circuits to simulate switches and relays. to control devices. It can be programmed with connected software via registered standard computer interfaces languages and network options. The development of inexpensive computers revolutionized the PLC. The fundamental parts of a PLC are as follows in Figure 2.

I/O modules: the real-time controller input provides an invalid indication of the state of the variable. This may be an option recorded, analog or discrete. In particular, analog i/p can be thermocouple, RTD, voltage, current and temperature of transistors. After being converted to digital data, it is sent to the central processing unit (CPU) via the I/O bus. The input block is responsible for converting the

electrical signals from the i/p hardware into electrical signals that the PLC can make. accept [6]. CPUS: A PLC's function and capability requirements depend on the application, hence its CPU the controller can be implemented as a general-purpose microcontroller or sometimes as a dedicated processor. two processors reason. The meaning of automation comes from the Greek word for self-perpetuation. Automation helps to increase the volume of output by renewing and increasing work efficiency . The main purpose of automation is to integrate the production process, improve the safety level of operators and increase productivity, increase quality and efficiency, reduce labor costs and human error. The main needs to automate the process are power, proper i/p and o/p control. Current automation has implemented a number of transformations of relay and connector logic . A PLC is a dedicated workstation a modular I/O system that can be simply interfaced with the actual hardware used for processing and control. A simple automation system based on PLC consists of three main parts as shown in Figure 3.

Conclusion. PLCs were first designed in the 1960s and are now widely used for automation, industrial and educational purposes. In general, the results of the survey show that PLCs can be fully adapted for several research projects, regardless of how simple or complex the structure is, further development of PLC with a focus on technical equipment in the current market. and software applications. By using it as a PLC, it can investigate how other citizens respond to its requirements are their main supervisors in their roles. The role and purpose of PLC in automation for the development of industrial control has a history of rigorous innovation in industry and education.
