THE ROLE OF IPAD TECHNOLOGY TO AMELIORATE SPEAKING SKILL IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES Mirzayev S.

Abstract: this article is about the role of IPad technogies in teaching and learning foreign languages significantly. It also describes progressive and effectiveness of teaching and process with IPad technologies for A1 or A2 level learners. The usage of new technologies (iPad and educational applications) in the classroom indicated positively effect. Keywords: iPad, ICT, Online dictionary, Digital technologies, Standard English pronunciation.
Over the last decades, learning English has become an increasingly common in many parts of the globe. Currently, we use English that crosses every field: medicine, business, global trades, technologies, industries, international communication and others. Actually, with good communication in English, we can travel around the globe. By this way, Tutors use innovative technologies for teaching foreign languages.
Actually, speaking in a foreign language is becoming one of the global problems in many countries. However, many learners face up to some difficulties while they began to speak in English pronounce the words. There are several types of technology, which ameliorate speaking skills. Technologies have many advantages for speaking skills. For instance, laptops or smartphones have such kind of educational programs like electronic dictionaries, audios, and recordings. They bring more facilities for learners. One of them is sound card. We use both of those tools to recording our voices. It allows us to record our speech and then compare with pronunciation of native speakers. Moreover, we can return our recording and listen again how our English sound. It means that you will organize your practice time by technology. For example, you will put clock in a two minute, keep speaking fast, and try to manage using words that are more academic in your speech. It makes you speak fluently in foreign language and improve your vocabulary skills too.
According to the study in California [1], showed that students using iPads saw their math test scores increase 20% in one year compared to students using traditional textbooks. It means that IPAD technologies are vitally important in education system and believed that like aiding and improving students' learning process. On the other hand, iPad provides motivation, interesting in learning foreign languages in the classroom setting in order to its interface design, which makes easy even for A1 or A2 level learners to use the device. Therefore, there is synchronous/asynchronous significantly important connection to individuals, learning communities. Because, environments allow students to create, share and connect with others in authentic learning situations, and they have a chance to participate in online learning communities. The iPad device is becoming an indispensable tool for English language learners across the world because of its multiple advantages for language classroom instruction. According his research, he showed that there are numerous advantages if language learners use an iPad in the English classroom setting. So, how can we ameliorate speaking skill by iPAD technologies?
Although, learners can see, hear and the correct form of pronunciation of any word within seconds, when they work with electronic and online edition of online dictionaries. In addition, online dictionaries have facilities to notice the vitally difference between the BBC and GAaccents.BBC pronunciation is (Standard British Pronunciation) and GA is General
American (Standard American Pronunciation). Therefore, learners can hear how the words and phrases pronounced in the online dictionaries.
Alfallaj demonstrated [1, 13] that an online dictionary is one of the best media which assists students with pronunciation as nearly 60% percent of learners' speaking by using online dictionary. Actually, after the click of a button we can easily hear model the pronunciation of any kind of word given in audio version on online dictionary.
I have had an experience on myself by using online dictionaries for enhance my speaking skill. So, I used from online Oxford Advanced Dictionary. Because, it has the audio definition that expresses words which are given on online version. It also more appropriate for Standard British Pronunciation. Besides, it helps me to speak more fluently than before.
Therefore, online dictionaries have a great opportunity to use. In fact, they have audio examples and then we will check our pronunciation. We can take them in everywhere with us on our smartphone or laptop. As we know English, language has so many tough words to pronounce some of them like these Enthusiastic, Sophisticate and Scene. Many learners confuse to pronounce these kinds of words. Therefore, we can hear easily correct form on electronic dictionary. Firstly, we say the word then verify afterwards to see if we were right or wrong about our pronunciation [2, 44].
To sum up, since, we are living in modern technologies developing century. In today's world, the role of (iPAD) and electronic techniques are vitally important for learning and teaching foreign languages like English are growing up day by day in many part of the world. Also, using an iPAD devices in classroom setting shows beneficial effect for educator to improve speaking skill for their students.
