Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world economy. Tourism plays an important role in the economies of many countries. It accounts for 10 percent of world GDP and 11 percent of world consumption. As a unique country where the most ancient civilizations and cultures have emerged and developed, Uzbekistan has a huge tourist potential, which is characterized by the attractiveness of the best places to relax and travel in the world. The centuries-old traditions of national culture, arts and crafts are well preserved in Uzbekistan. World-renowned national dishes and culinary traditions are a symbol of oriental hospitality. In recent years, Uzbekistan has witnessed rapid development of the tourism industry. At the end of 2019, 6,748,500 tourists visited Uzbekistan, while in 2018 this figure was 5,346,200. World-famous tourist centers such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva annually attract thousands of foreign tourists to Uzbekistan from around the world.

In order to implement the proposals made in the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis on December 28, 2018, as well as in accordance with the tasks set in the Action Strategy for the five priority areas of development for 2017-2021 -An action plan has been developed.

Agrotourism is a growing trend in the field of tourism in our country. Recently, agritourism is also developing rapidly, where tourists have the opportunity to escape from noisy cities, get acquainted with the life and customs of the local population, live in country houses and participate in local sports competitions. For example, in Europe, in addition to accommodating tourists in well-developed country houses and farms in agritourism, there is the opportunity to live in reconstructed ancient castles, monasteries and mills, where visitors have a great connection with antiquity. In this regard, the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan is working to develop agritourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main goal of developing this type of tourism is to strengthen the socio-economic status of the village, in particular, to create new jobs, reduce urban migration, increase the cultural and intellectual level, as well as the development of this type of national crafts.

Improving social infrastructure in rural areas will play a role in diversifying agriculture through the development of agritourism, increasing employment and income of the rural population, developing small businesses and improving the quality of life in rural areas.

A lot of work is being done in our country to develop agritourism, for example, the launch of a project to establish the first "Tourism Village" in Uzbekistan in the territory of Kumushkon MFY Parkent district of Tashkent region will contribute to the rapid development of agritourism. According to the project, there will be 50 guest houses, an ethno-village on the basis of 20 apartments, a village of national cuisine with 20 apartments, a village of craftsmen covering 15 apartments, and 10 artists involved in the project. Village and the creation of an agritourism village

in 20 houses. There is also a hotel, a public library, a youth creative center, a playground for folk games and sports, a grass town, tourist information centers, a souvenir and handicraft shop, modern sanitary ware, medical services for tourists. It is planned to organize a demonstration station, artificial waterfalls and 7 seasonal recreation areas, as well as other activities.

As a result of this project, 450 people will be employed in the region, the number of tourists will reach 250 thousand (foreign tourists 60 thousand) per year, the volume of tourism services will reach 50 billion soums, and tax payments to the budget will increase from 3 billion soums per year. provided for payment.

There are the following problems for further development of agritourism in our country:

• Lack of special programs to support business development in the field of agritourism;

• staffing problem - lack of specialists in the field of agritourism, including foreign tourism or low level of training of existing staff in this field;

• Incomplete legislation on land allocation in the allocation of land for tourism and recreational needs;

• Lack of standards and regulations in the field of agritourism as a special sector of the tourism industry;

• Lack of a well-developed state policy on agritourism and a system of normative support for this type of activity;

• Lack of SMM marketing demonstrations in the field of agritourism;

• low speed internet in rural areas.

In conclusion, the further development of agro-tourism in our country by improving the above-mentioned problems will help to improve the socio-economic infrastructure of rural areas, in particular, to create new jobs and raise the cultural and intellectual level of the population.
