According to its direction and geopolitical strategy of the state, foreign policy can be positive and active, aggressive or submissive, trying to change international conditions or, on the contrary, adapting to them, and many other characteristics. One of the main tasks of foreign policy is related to its nature of conciliatory and regulatory nature of international situations between states and peoples. States, their bodies, heads of state and political leaders act as the main subjects of foreign policy. The state has the main and decisive role in the formation of foreign policy. In addition, international organizations and non-governmental organizations, political parties and public organizations also play an important role in foreign policy. The concept of foreign policy literally means the political direction of each state in the international space and the relations it carries out to ensure it. Relations related to the implementation of foreign policy are conducted with the subjects of

international relations, primarily with states and international organizations. At the same time, foreign policy work can be implemented in cooperation with foreign organizations, parties, movements and public associations. The foreign policy of any state is inextricably linked with its domestic policy and is its logical continuation. Accordingly, foreign policy and domestic policy interact with each other. In general, foreign and domestic politics perform a single function, that is, the function of maintaining and strengthening the state system of public relations. The essence of foreign policy is determined by the goals set before it and the means used to achieve them. Traditional foreign policy objectives include:

1) raising the material and spiritual level of the country's population;

2) strengthening the economic and political power of the state;

3) ensuring the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state;

4) preventing outside interference in internal affairs;

5) to strengthen the state's reputation and important position in international relations;

6) strengthening, developing, etc., the position in the political and economic environment of the international system.

Policy is implemented in the field of foreign international relations. In turn, the concept of international relations has a broad meaning. It includes relations between the main social, military-political, financial and economic forces of states and associations of states operating in the world. The highest and most important task for foreign policy is to comprehensively ensure the national interests of the state. In this regard, foreign policy performs some special functions, namely:

1) defense mission, i.e. protecting the independence and sovereignty of the state, ensuring its security and national interests, protecting the rights and interests of the country and its citizens abroad, etc.;

2) information and communication function, that is, to create a positive image of the state in front of the world community and to ensure the dissemination of real news that is in line with national interests;

3) organizational task, i.e. to ensure efficient international relations and cooperation of the state and favorable foreign policy conditions for the state;

4) normative task, i.e. maintaining balance in international relations. References:
