There is a current endeavor to amalgamate multiple art festivals prevalent in contemporary times. Prior attempts to do so are nonexistent, thus necessitating our reliance on empirical experience as an essential and legitimate facet at this juncture of our research. It is imperative to undertake a classification analysis of contemporary art biennials and festivals as a preliminary step towards comprehending their fundamental framework and substance. Contemporary art festivals are categorized based on various factors:
Categorizing art based on its various forms: сштently, the most widespread types of art festivals include theater, music, film, photo and art festivals.1
It makes sense to divide art festivals by specific art forms, as it enables each individual form to be displayed distinctly from the rest of the diverse selection. In certain cases, this segregation occurs on a provisional basis due to the scarcity of events that exclusively concentrate on a singular art form. It is uncommon for festivals to simply showcase one type of art without acknowledging or drawing from other disciplines. Most often, the name of a festival suggests the primary art form that a particular project is focused on.
Film festivals have great interest and popularity in the world community. Cann, Venice, Berlinale, Toronto Film Festival and several other festivals belong to category "A" festivals. Their global recognition and noteworthy position in the realm of film history are widely acknowledged. Movies showcased at these festivals acquire renown and acknowledgement, as well as a distinctive position in the annals of film-making.2 In Uzbekistan, the craft of filmmaking flourished during the period of liberation. By 1996, approximately 30 independent creative studios and 8 film studios were under the supervision of "Uzbekfilm". The establishment of Uzbekkino in 1996 as a state joint-stock company proved to be crucial in the advancement of the film industry, as its financial assistance from the government played a significant role. The 12th edition of the Tashkent Film Festival took place from May 22nd to May 29th in 1997. The event involved the participation of experts in film production from 32 different nations and 8 global organizations. R is the individual responsible for producing the movie "The Great Amir Temur". Ibrohimov emerged as the recipient of the top award at the festival.
Preservation and development of centuries-old traditions of national film art, strengthening friendship and fraternal ties between countries through this art form, expanding the scope of creative cooperation and cultural ties at the international level, and restoring the world-famous Tashkent International Film Festival, which has been held for many years, as well as 2021 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree No. PD-6202 dated April 7, 2016 "On bringing the cinematographic art and industry to a new level, further improving the system of state support of the industry", the "Asian, African and Latin American countries" held in Uzbekistan from 1968 to 1997 Tashkent International Film Festival" will be revived under the name of "Silk Road Masterpiece" Tashkent International Film Festival and will be held annually in September-October in Tashkent from 2021. film industry and raising awareness about the value of humanity, tolerance, and cultural diversity across the globe. Our country aims to enhance the stature of our national film art and showcase our rich history and culture to the world by attracting exceptional films from various nations. We plan to collaborate with foreign film experts to conduct scientific research in this field and exchange knowledge. Additionally, we will organize events such as conferences, roundtable discussions, presentations, and master classes featuring distinguished film personalities. The 13 th edition of the Tashkent International Film Festival, dubbed "Masterpiece of the Silk Road," took place from September 28 to October 3, 2021, highlighting the values of peace, development, and enlightenment.
Theatrical art festivals are organized in order to activate the modern theater process, support the development of modern dramaturgy, establish long-term creative relations and exchange experience in the field of stage art. Theater art festivals cover various areas of theater art: professional and amateur theaters, drama and puppet theaters, theater artists and student theaters.3
Ever since achieving independence, Uzbekistan has been witnessing the formation and growth of theater festivals.
The "Teatr: Sharq-Farb" festival which took place in Tashkent in October 1997 featured performances by theater professionals hailing from countries like Japan, India, Hong Kong, Turkey, Russia and Great Britain. For the celebration of Amir Temur's 660th birthday, a splendid festival showcased the finest historical productions of 15 distinguished theaters hailing from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The theatrical talents of Uzbekistan were showcased in various countries such as Germany, France, Slovakia, India, the USA, Bedgiya, Egypt, and Russia, where they presented captivating performances as part of theater festivals.
The proposals of the Association of Theater Actors of Uzbekistan and industry representatives to hold the Eurasia International Theater Art Festival in Tashkent every two years starting from 2022 have been approved. From 2022, the Eurasia International Theater Art Festival will be held every two years on October 20-30 in Tashkent. The goals and objectives of the festival are to further develop international cooperation in the field of theater art, interstate cultural relations between Uzbekistan and foreign countries, to create a single cultural platform, to strengthen the friendship of peoples of the world, to unite theater creators, to inform the residents and guests of Uzbekistan about the current state of modern theater, leading stage masters and theater art. to introduce the best achievements, to develop theater art, to promote the values of theater art, to popularize the creative activities of professional theater teams, to form international partnership relations.4
Photography festivals are designed to reveal the meaning of photography as a special art form. American writer, critic and art critic Susan Sontag: "A photograph is an elegant piece of time and being."5 Gathering photos means gathering the world," it is not for nothing that he attaches special importance to photographs and photo festivals.
Photo festivals are a unique communication platform where photographers can meet, share experiences, watch specially prepared exhibitions and communicate "live" with the stars of world photography. "The atmosphere and events in the festival program allow even a non-professional to understand and dive into the world of documentary photography, to increase their level of visual culture and to meet very bright people (as a rule, all invited creators), to see the results of their work, to have an interesting life experience have, after which a person not only begins to react differently to the photos he sees every day, but can also change his attitude to life".6
Since 2002, photographers from all over the world have been constantly gathered in our country. The Tashkent International Biennale, organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, is a clear example of this. The main goal of the photobiennale is to present to the general public various trends, new directions, new names of photography, and to activate international cultural relations, to strengthen cultural relations, achievements and traditions in the field of photography.
The last time was the VII Tashkent International Photo Biennale held in 2014, which was "Parallels. "Illusion and truth" was held under the slogan. Expositions were placed in 9 modern exhibition halls of Tashkent and Bukhara cities. More than 30 countries participated in this festival, and the works of more than 350 photographers were shown. At the photobiennale, a competition was held together with individual exhibitions, master classes. Thus, the grand prize of the VII Tashkent International Photo Biennale was awarded to the photographer Farhod Karimov from Uzbekistan for the work "The girl who caught a balloon". The nomination "Best artistic photography" was awarded to the work of Andrey Vetrov from Belarus. Zemfira Mahmudova (Azerbaijan) and Olga Korenchuk from Kazakhstan won the first place of the podium in the category "Best Documentary Photo".
Since 2002, this photobiennale has been held continuously every two years for 7 times until 2014, but after that, until today, it did not continue.
Music festivals provide an opportunity to present music as an art form in various forms, styles and directions. Music festivals are very prestigious and are regularly held in almost all countries of the world: famous art festivals are held in Norway, Finland, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, USA and Canada, Sweden, France, Estonia, Russia and many other countries.

festival, spanning over a period of 3 days, draws in a yearly crowd of 175,000 individuals.7 Numerous music festivals were arranged and conducted in Uzbekistan throughout the period of independence.
The Republic's government made a significant choice on March 11, 1997, when it decided to host the prestigious "Sharq Taronalari" International Music Festival, intending to promote and enhance exclusive musical art forms through this platform. The initial worldwide festival "Sharq Taronalari" held in Samarkand in 1997 attracted participants, art critics, and famous individuals from over 40 nations, from August 25 to September 2. The practice of organizing the "Sharq Taronalari" International Festival biennially in Samarkand has become customary. The celebration is being organized with the support of UNESCO.
On the initiative of the head of our state, the establishment of a school of beekeeping in Surkhandarya created good conditions for preserving it and passing it on to the younger generation. On November 1, 2018, another historic decision in this field was adopted - the decision8 of the President "On holding the International Festival of the Art of Giving". The International Festival of the Art of Bakhchik is held every two years, it serves to preserve and widely promote the art of epic, to strengthen friendship and creative cooperation between different peoples. More than 160 representatives from 74 countries participated in the festival held for the first time. In today's era of globalization, this historical art has been neglected. The great Bakhshis were getting old, and in many places this legacy was being forgotten. Because there was no attention, interest, incentive. The organization of the international festival of the art of philanthropy was the same thing.
The decisions of the President of November 17, 2017 "On measures to further develop Uzbek national status art" and April 6, 2018 "On holding the international status art conference" opened a new era in the history of Uzbek classical music. These documents set out important tasks for the further development of the art of status and its recognition worldwide. The festival, which takes place once in two years in Shahrisabz, Kashkadarya region, is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It envisages holding a scientific and practical conference on the topic of "Maqom music art and its role in world civilization" as well as an audition of maqom ensembles, singers and musicians, and encouraging the deserving ones. In the assessment, the main criteria are the original national features of the status samples, the artistic and aesthetic content, the skill of the performers, national dress, stage culture. 1 grand prize, 6 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and winners of 6 categories will receive money, gifts and prizes.
Visual art festivals are an important and widespread phenomenon, that is, "visual art, unlike cinema, literature, theater, almost does not need translators, it appeals to purely visual understanding."9 Describing fine art festivals, it should be noted that the emergence of new types of art and the development of new technologies have significantly expanded the scope of traditional fine art, and therefore modern fine art festivals are significantly different from ordinary art exhibitions.
Considering the distribution of festivals by art types, it should be noted that many contemporary art festivals do not set themselves the task of presenting only one type of art. Combining several types of art, modern art festivals represent a new type of synthetic art space, striving to affect all the senses of the viewer.
The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan regularly hosts an international festival featuring both fine and applied arts in Tashkent. A favorable environment will be provided for imaginative artists to pursue their creative endeavors in areas like ceramics, needlework, woodworking, and other related fields. The art festival will feature master classes conducted by esteemed individuals including academicians from the Academy of Arts, members of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan, and educators from various institutions.
The central objective of the global festival for fine and applied arts is to showcase the abundant legacy of our country's artistry from bygone times, its current prospects, and, above all, to promote the emerging artists who have developed during the years of independence by introducing them to the wider audience and offering them comprehensive support. The origins of this yearly celebration can be traced back to the year 2000. The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan's celebration has evolved into a significant global initiative since 2012.
These festivals serve as means of enhancing global relations, fostering collaboration in cultural and artistic advancement, elevating the status of Uzbek culture in the international arena, showcasing our nation's rich history and unique heritage to the world, sharing knowledge and strengthening bonds of camaraderie and harmony among diverse communities. Enhancing cultural relations globally, broadening its scope and providing opportunities for exchanging innovative ideas and information, sharing skills across different artistic domains and significantly contributing to the growth of international creative collaboration through the execution of collaborative creative endeavors.
