Аннотация научной статьи по языкознанию и литературоведению, автор научной работы — Silcheva Alina Georgievna

The issue of attribution of the creative method of V. Pelevin, implemented in later works, clarification of the author's artistic principles is acute for modern literary criticism. The article attempts to determine the specifics of the implementation of magical motif in Pelevin's works as artistic tool that allows to reflect reality in a work of art. The subject of the research is magical motif in artistic structure of late novel prose, namely in the novel «Secret V iews of Mount Fuji» (2018). Such works as: «The Holy Book of the Werewolf» (2004), «Empire V » (2006), «Love for Three Zuckerbrins» (2014), «Invincible Sun» (2020) and «K GBT +» (2022) are also mentioned. The article is notable for its scientific novelty: for the first time magical elements are revealed in late novels of the author, specificity of the acting hero is indicated. The features of the embodiment of the magical in works at the level of the plot, the chronotopic organization of the text, in speech and the system of characters are presented. We additionally seek to answer the research question: is it right to consider V. Pelevin in the context of magical realism as a special type of thinking? It is noted that the author includes mythological and folklore reminiscences in the narrative: V. Pelevin refers to recognizable mythologemes, transfers well-known literary, mythological, folklore characters and typical magical creatures to a different chronotopic pattern, while maintaining their recognizability, which, together with the comparison by combining the components of magical prose with structural, plot and other elements of Pelevin's novels, allows us to answer the question in the affirmative. Structural and cultural-historical methods were used.

Abstract: The issue of attribution of the creative method of V. Pelevin, implemented in later works, clarification of the author's artistic principles is acute for modern literary criticism. The article attempts to determine the specifics of the implementation of magical motif in Pelevin's works as artistic tool that allows to reflect reality in a work of art. The subject of the research is magical motif in artistic structure of late novel prose, namely in the novel «Secret Views of Mount Fuji» (2018). Such works as: «The Holy Book of the Werewolf» (2004), «Empire V» (2006), «Love for Three Zuckerbrins» (2014), «Invincible Sun» (2020) and «KGBT +» (2022) are also mentioned. Pelevin refers to recognizable mythologemes, transfers

well-known literary, mythological, folklore characters and typical magical creatures to a different chronotopic pattern, while maintaining their recognizability, which, together with the comparison by combining the components of magical prose with structural, plot and other elements of Pelevin's novels, allows us to answer the question in the affirmative. The article "The magical paradigm in the late novels of V. Pelevin" presented for consideration, proposed for publication in the magazine "Litera", is undoubtedly relevant, due to the consideration of the specifics of the texts of the famous writer of the 21st century, our contemporary Victor Pelevin, whose work is extremely popular among Russian-speaking readers. In the article, the author sets the task to identify the specifics of one of the constituent elements of the author's artistic method implemented in later works, namely, the peculiarities of the embodiment of the magical motif. The article considers the "magical motif" as a transformation of the surrounding space repeated in a work of art, carried out through a directed effort of will in order to achieve a specific goal, embodied in reminiscences, paraphrases and allusions, chronotope, system, communicative acts and/or actions of characters. The article is groundbreaking, one of the first in Russian literary criticism devoted to the study of such topics in the 21st century. The article presents a research methodology, the choice of which is quite adequate to the goals and objectives of the work. All the theoretical inventions of the author are supported by practical material. In this paper, the author provides linguistic examples from the writer's works in Russian. The author turns, among other things, to various methods to confirm the hypothesis put forward. The following research methods are used: logical-semantic analysis, hermeneutical and comparative methods, as well as description, structural and cultural-historical methods. This work was done professionally, in compliance with the basic canons of scientific research. The research was carried out in line with modern scientific approaches, the work consists of an introduction containing the formulation of the problem, the main part, traditionally beginning with a review of theoretical sources and scientific directions, a research and final one, which presents the conclusions obtained by the author. Note that the final part does not fully reflect the objectives of the study. The theoretical provisions are illustrated with textual material. However, the author does not indicate the size of the sample obtained, which was used in the study, as well as the sources of its origin and the time period. The bibliography of the article contains 19 sources, including theoretical works in both Russian and English. In some cases, the requirements of GOST for the design of the list of references have been violated, in terms of non-compliance with the generally accepted alphabetical arrangement of cited works. Thus, works in Russian are mixed with foreign-language works, traditionally located at the end of the list, the alphabetical principle of building a bibliography is not observed. In general, it should be noted that the

article is written in a simple, understandable language for the reader. Typos, spelling and syntactic errors, inaccuracies in the text of the work were not found. The comments made are not significant and do not affect the overall positive impression of the reviewed work. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of using its results in the process of teaching university courses in literary studies. The article will undoubtedly be useful to a wide range of people, philologists, undergraduates and graduate students of specialized universities. The article "The magical paradigm in the late novels of V. Pelevin" can be recommended for publication in a scientific journal.
