Rare Birds of Prey in the Usinsk Territory (Western Sayan)

РЕДКИЕ ВИДЫ ХИЩНЫХ ПТИЦ УСИНСКОГО КРАЯ (ЗАПАДНЫЙ САЯН)

Усинский край находится в Западном Сая-не. Это — бассейн р. Ус и собственно Усин-ская котловина. Представлены результаты нашей работы в 2008, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018 годах.

Методы исследований: наблюдение за поведением птиц; маршрутные учеты — пешие, автомобильные, с катера.

Скопа (Pandion haliaetus). Перелёт-но-гнездящийся вид. Две пары успешно гнездятся в заливе р. Ус, правом притоке Енисея.

Орлан-белохвост (Haliaeetus albicilla).

Редкий вид. Чаще стали встречать орланов во время учетов в июне 2018 года по водохранилищу в центральной части Саяно-Шушенского заповедника. Птицы залетают в Усинский залив.

Беркут (Aquila chrysaetos). Редкий вид, регулярно отмечали летом. Чаще встречали молодых птиц, которые находят здесь хорошие кормовые стации в послегнездо-вой и осенне-зимний периоды, особенно в устье р. Ус, где по скалистым остепненным горам держатся козероги (Capra sibirica).

Солнечный орёл (Aquila heliaca). Редкий гнездящийся вид по склонам гор. Обычен на осеннем пролете. Неоднократно наблюдали охоту на длиннохвостых сусликов (Spermophilus undulatus) в конце августа — сентябре в окрестностях с. Верхне-усинское.

Степной орёл (Aquila nipalensis). Редко отмечали летующих птиц. Иногда гнездится по бортам Усинской котловины.

Большой подорлик (Aquila clanga). Очень редкие летующие особи в Усинской котловине. По сведениям В.С. Рудовского одна пара гнездилась в пойме недалеко от с. Нижнеусинское в 2010 году.

Орёл-карлик (Hieraaetus pennatus). Успешно размножается в Усинской котловине. В 2017 году гнездились 3 пары. С каждой парой в сентябре держалась молодая птица. Осенью наблюдали брачные игры. Одна пара регулярно использовала в качестве присады трансляционную вышку в центре села. Охотятся на зябликов

Usinsky kray is situated in the Western Sayan. It includes the basin of the river Us and the Usinskaya Hollow itself. We present the results of our work in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018.

Research methods: monitoring the behavior of birds; route census — walking, auto, from the boat.

Osprey (Pandion haliaetus). This is a migratory nesting species. Two pairs are successfully breeding in the bay of the river Us, right-bank tributary of the Yenisei river.

White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla:). This is a rare species. More often white-tailed eagles can be met during monitoring in June 2018 on the reservoir in the central part of the Sayano-Shushenski Nature Reserve. Birds fly to the Usinsky Bay.

Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos). This is a rare species. It is regularly met in summer. More often young birds, which find good feeding stations in the post-breeding and autumn-winter periods, are met here, especially at the mouth of the river Us, where there are Siberian ibexes (Capra sibirica) in the rocky steppe mountains.

Imperial Eagle (Aquila heliaca). This is a rare species nesting on the mountain slopes. It is regularly met in the autumn flight. Hunting for long-tailed ground squirrels (Spermophilus undulatus) was observed several times in late August-September in the vicinity of the village Verkhneusinskoe.

Steppe Eagle (Aquila nipalensis). Flying birds are recorded rarely. Sometimes it nests along the sides of the Usinskaya Hollow.

Greater Spotted Eagle (Aquila clanga). Very rare flying individuals are met in the Usinskaya Hollow. According to V.S. Ru-dovsky one pair was nesting in the flood-plain near the village Nizhneusinskoe in 2010.

Booted Eagle (Hieraaetus pennatus). It

successfully breeds in the Usinskaya Hollow. In 2017, 3 pairs were breeding here. A young bird was observed with each pair in September. Mating habits were recorded in autumn. One pair regularly used a

(FпngШа coelebs), юрков (FпngШa monti-frmgiUa) и других воробьиных, 1 сентября 2017 г. видели 4 взрослых и 2 молодых орлов-карликов, долго вместе круживших над школьным полем.

Популяции хищных птиц в Усинском крае находятся в относительно благоприятных условиях. Отрицательными факторами являются вырубка леса, возрастающая рекреационная нагрузка, незаконная охота, в определенной степени пастбищное животноводство и пожары. В большей степени страдают виды, гнездящиеся на земле.

broadcasting tower, located in the center of the village, as a perch. They hunt for Common Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs), Brambling (Fringilla montifringilla) and other Passeri-formes. On September 1, 2017, 4 adult and 2 young Booted Eagles were met circling above the school field.

Populations of birds of prey in the Usinsky kray are in relatively favorable conditions. Negative factors are deforestation, increasing recreational load, illegal hunting, livestock breeding to a certain extent and fires. The species nesting on the ground suffer more.
