PSYCHOLOGY OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN HIGHER EDUCATION: MODERN APPROACHES AND GUIDELINES

Annotatsiya Ushbu maqolada chet tillarni o'qitishning zamonaviy psixologik usullari, yondoshuvlar va ko'rsatmalari keltirib o 'tilgan. Chet tillarini o'rganish bo'yicha olib borilgan ilmiy tadqiqot ishlarining mohiyati hamda chet tillarini o'rganish samaradorligini oshirishning psixologik tomonlari keltirib o'tilgan.

Аннотация: В данной статье представлены современные психологические методики, подходы и инструкции по обучению иностранным языкам. Упоминаются характер научных исследований, проводимых по изучению иностранных языков, и психологические аспекты повышения эффективности изучения иностранных языков.

Ab&ract: This article discusses modern psychological methods, approaches, and guidelines for teaching foreign languages. The essence of the research work on the tiudy offoreign languages and the psychological aspects of improving the effectiveness of the tiudy of foreign languages are presented.

Introduction. It is known that the training of qualified specials who contribute to the socio-economic development of the country directly depends on the development of the education sy^em, and in this regard, raising an independent-thinking, creative, entrepreneurial, initiative-driven person is the priority of &ate policy today. There is a need for modern knowledge and new approaches in the socio-economic development of the country. Therefore, in order to increase the quality of education, it is necessary to organize the educational process in accordance with the requirements of the time, improve the &ate educational ^andard and educational programs, create a new generation of educational literature, use modern innovative pedagogical and information technologies, and eliminate exiting problems.

In our modern world, teaching foreign languages deeply is a priority in higher education organizations in Uzbeki^an because knowing foreign languages plays a crucial role in finding high-paying jobs in the labor market. Learning a foreign language opens the door to finding a job. It's no secret that learning a foreign language can improve your employment prospects. More companies than ever are doing business in several, often

dozens, of countries around the world, but they cannot do so without hiring people who underhand at lea& one foreign language. Even at small, local companies, the ability to speak a second language is likely to set candidates apart from other employers.

Currently, a number of activities are being carried out to further improve the effectiveness of teaching foreign languages in our country, including the President of the Republic of Uzbeki&an's "Measures to bring the popularization of learning foreign languages to a new level in terms of quality," "Decision No. PQ-5117 of May 19, 2021," which has gained importance. Especially in foreign education, taking into account the specific features of teaching foreign languages and psychological approaches to them as well as modern requirements, the necessary educational literature and teaching-methods manuals are being developed in collaboration with experts. At the same time, paying deep attention to the psychological characteri&ics of foreign language &udents by foreign language teachers is a necessary condition for improving the quality and efficiency of education. Today, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of foreign education, teachers are required to perform several important tasks.

Currently, a lot of work is being done not only on teaching foreign languages but also on finding new methods of teaching all subjects and te&ing them in practice. This is one of the moS important problems that mu& be solved in order to improve the educational process today. If before, teaching a foreign language was considered the &udy of this language sy&em, in the following years, the main aim of teaching was to develop &udents' foreign language speech. It should be said that these goals in learning a foreign language are not set by themselves or by other people or individuals but are closely related to changes in the sciences of lingui&ics and psychology and the social development of society. For example, let's take the audiolingual method. The emergence of this method was influenced by changes in the science of lingui&ics, i.e., &ructural flow. It includes the following factors:

- Teaching a foreign language mu& begin with oral communication.

Language learning is carried out on the basis of various fractures and speech patterns.

- Language-based exercises that require repeated repetition of language material are also required.

The selection of grammatical patterns and lexis should depend on the results of comparing the foreign language with the mother tongue.

Pronunciation requires a lot of attention.

Step-by-&ep teaching is more important in teaching a foreign language based on the learner's potential and age and gives a good result. In this, &udents are divided into groups based on the following factors:

1. Teaching at the elementary level (beginner, elementary)

2. Teaching at the secondary level (pre-intermediate)

3. Advanced training (intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced)

For each &age, a special activity program is developed by the teacher. Active methods of education not only help to motivate &udents to think actively and do practical activities during the learning process, but also to form positive teaching motivation, reveal

and develop creative abilities, and ma&er the educational material with high efficiency. Active methods that are effective not only for the teacher but also for the &udents should be used for each &age of the lesson. It is recommended that you get acquainted with some of these methods. It is emphasized that it can also be used in academic sciences. Organizational ftage: "Carousel". This technique allows you to use imaginative thinking and memory. The fir& &udent selects a card from the teacher's hand and li&s associations with this word. The card is passed along the chain until it returns to the teacher. Each &udent has the opportunity to express his thoughts at a rapid pace. At this &age, &udents "remember" the material. The principle of "intellectual warm-up" can be used during the lesson to develop speaking skills. As a rule, the lexical bases of such exercises are placed on the board, especially at the initial &age. In short, as a result of using innovative methods in English lessons, &udents' logical thinking skills develop, their speech becomes fluent, and they develop the ability to quickly and correctly answer que&ions. Such methods and games make the &udent eager for knowledge. Students try to prepare thoroughly for the lessons. This makes &udents the subjects of the educational process. The effectiveness of using different tables in the process of teaching a foreign language is also important. Using tables in the educational process, &udents can learn a certain grammatical rule, for example, making sentences using tenses and placing new words. Learning a foreign language is pivotal, and effective use of modern information technologies and innovative educational technologies in the educational process has made this process effective. The effectiveness of innovative educational technologies lies in their correct and effective use in the educational process.
