Abstract: The digital transformation of forms of communication is changing many areas of life. The ability of the internet to have such a global reach creates many opportunities for its users. On the World Wide Web, along with its advantages, there are various media files that carry a threat, both obvious and hidden, to the psychological security of individuals. An internet user can be someone with a dubious reputation or past and with any mental illness - everyone is equal on the internet. Deviant behavior that has previously been criticized, persecuted or judged is now becoming the norm online, due to the ease with which communities of like-minded people are able to gather and receive positive reinforcement for their inclinations. With culture-destroying trends, the substitution of ideals and demonstrations of luxury all serving as surrogates for true feelings, it is difficult to maintain psychological security online, especially for underage users. One of the most serious threats is a hidden subtext that a minor is unable to identify due to lack of experience and critical approach to the media space. The lack of attention from family members or face-to-face communication with friends, classmates, and peers leads to the search for friends on social networks, through which a lot of cybercrimes are currently being committed. On behalf of those responsible for the information security of the state and childhood protection, it is necessary to enforce clear rules governing the placement and consumption of destructive content. In addition to the responsibility of state structures, it is important to remember the responsibility of parents for the upbringing of children, the formation of the personality and its socialization.
