PROS AND CONS OF CLOUD COMPUTING AND ITS ECONOMIC EFFECT
Abstract. The research is devoted to the creation of cloud storage chronology, analyzes of its advantages and disadvantages and chase for the best cloud storage due to certain criteria.

IT technologies are recently viewed as the most potential in economic development of any country. Advances in IT help both small and big companies to more effectively run their businesses, reducing all types of costs. Data used by corporations grows rapidly and needs to be stored and maintained efficiently. One of the best ways to do it is to use a cloud storage technology developed for these needs. Not only businesses find it useful to do this but also billions of individuals willingly store and share their files on a third party cluster servers.
The subject of this study is to analyze advantages and disadvantages and to show the impact of cloud storage on the economy [1]. Cloud storage is a model of online storage where data is stored on multiple distributed network servers provided to customers by mainly third party[4].
The term "cloud computing" was proposed in 1997 by Ramnath Chellappa, a Professor at the University of Texas. The year of 2000 was a turning point in the development of cloud-based storage: "grid computing" networking technology was invented in the USA that allowed users to share resources.
The next important event occurred in 2002: Amazon Web Services launched a series of services based on cloud technologies, including computing services and storage. Since 2008 there have been several services for cloud storage: Dropbox, Government Cloud, AppExchange, and many others [5].
There are lots of advantages of cloud computing but the major ones are currently the following [3]:
1. Availability (mandatory condition is availability of access to the Internet);
2. Low cost (cloud-based technology does not require the cost of purchase and maintenance of special software - access to applications can be accessed through the web browser);
3. Flexibility (the ability to access data from any computer via the Internet);
4. Reliability (high probability of saving the data even in case of hardware failures).
The main disadvantages of cloud computing in the modern world are[3]:
1. Permanent connection to the network;
2. Incomplete privacy policy;
3. Insecurity ("cloud" itself is a fairly reliable system, but in entering it, the attacker has access to a huge data warehouse);
4. Dependence (timeliness or availability of the data in the "cloud" is very dependent on many intermediate parameters, such as: transmission channels, the quality of the Internet service provider, access to the "cloud" and the overall performance i.e. working with data in the cloud can be lower than working with local copies of data).
Analysis of all cloud technologies identifies 6 criteria with scores from 0 to 5, where 5 is the best.

The study identified three major services with cloud technology. 1. The first cloud storage is ^^foogle Drive[ 1 ].
Google Drive allows users to store their data on servers in the cloud and share them with other users online. Its interface is quite stylish and comfortable, and it is also available in web browsers, Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS. Cloud
storage shares the space between Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photo.

The service can store not only documents, but also music, videos and many other files - a total of 30 types.

OneDrive — renamed in February 2014, Microsoft SkyDrive based cloud-based online file storage service with file-sharing. The advantage of the service OneDrive is that it is immediately integrated with Office 365, so directly from the app you can create, edit, and save Excel files, OneNote, PowerPoint and Word in Windows Live
OneDrive. The service OneDrive allows you to store information in order using the standard folder view. Images can be previewed in the form of sketches and they are also available in a slideshow.
3. The last cloud is ^ Mega[l],
Mega (MEGA Encrypted Global Access) is an ambitious cloud-based file sharing, Kim Dotcom (Kim Dotcom), founder of the legendary Megaupload. What differs greatly Mega from similar services is confidentiality, because Mega is positioning itself as a service that protects the user's personal data. This is achieved through end-to-end encryption - Mega encrypts all the content directly in the browser using the AES algorithm. Its users can send each other files that are securely encrypted while all data is stored in the cloud. The keys access files are not published in open access but distributed under the Friend-to-Friend scheme -only between those users who trust each other. It is also noteworthy that one can start using Mega immediately with 50 GB free web space which is the largest free package among the other cloud resources.

Analysis of the scores show the following indicators, where Google Drive has become the leader leaving their rivals behind by small margin of 0.1 per cent.

In fact, cloud computing enhances global economic growth all over ehe world. Cloud is directly creating employment in the construction, staffing and supply of data centers spheres, the cloud is hosting. Using cloud computing encourages businesses of any scale to be more productive by allowing management groups and educated employees to focus on fields of work which provide more revenue. For instance, in the UK in 2014, the rate of growth in cloud-related jobs in the smartphone services sector is set to be 349% in comparison with 2010 data, compared to 52% growth in aerospace. German, Italian and US equivalent growth rates will be 280% vs 33%, 268% vs 36% and 168% vs 57% accordingly.
The study as of January 2017 states the economic benefits of cloud computing uptake and free flow of data within the European Union. It proves that a wider adoption of cloud services will definitely increase total revenue of EUR 449 billion to the EU28 GDP with significant impact on employment and business creation.
