In the context of rapid technological advancement and widespread use of household and computer devices, repair shops play an important role in maintaining and restoring their functionality. In Uzbekistan, equipment repair services, including computers, cameras and household appliances, are becoming increasingly popular. This is due to both the increase in the volume of equipment use and the need to extend its service life to save money. However, this industry faces a number of problems that require an integrated approach to solve them.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the main problems faced by repair shops in Uzbekistan, including a shortage of professional specialists, a shortage of spare parts, as well as difficulties in organizing a business and competing with official service centers. The article will also consider potential solutions to these problems and opportunities for improving work in this area.

Resolving these problems can not only improve the quality of repair services, but also strengthen consumer confidence, which will create conditions for sustainable growth and development of workshops in the country.

The history of the development of the repair sphere of technical equipment in Uzbekistan has its own characteristics associated with political and economic changes in the country. Since independence in 1991, Uzbekistan has faced the need to create its own repair infrastructure to service a variety of household and digital equipment, much of which was imported from abroad.

In the early stages, the main players in the repair market were state-owned workshops, inherited from the Soviet era, which repaired household appliances such as televisions, refrigerators, and radios. However, with the rise of private entrepreneurs starting in the 1990s, private workshops began to play an increasingly prominent role, offering competitive services.

Towards the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, with the growing use of computers and digital devices, there was a need for specialized workshops that would service more complex equipment. The private sector gradually developed, providing repairs for computers, mobile phones, and other digital equipment. State support for entrepreneurship contributed to the opening of new workshops, as well as improving the conditions for the development of private business in this area. Today, the repair industry in Uzbekistan includes both general workshops that repair household appliances and specialized services that focus on complex digital and professional equipment, such

Equipment repair shops in Uzbekistan are focused on providing comprehensive and high-

quality services that meet the high standards of service for modern customers.

Household, computer and digital equipment repair shops in Uzbekistan face a number of problems that affect their activities and the quality of services provided. Let's consider the main ones.

Lack of qualified personnel. A critical problem is the shortage of specialists capable of repairing modern equipment. With the increasing technological complexity of equipment, many technicians do not have time to master new diagnostic and repair methods, which negatively affects the speed and quality of services provided. As a result, workshops may not cope with tasks related to servicing advanced devices.

Difficulties with access to original spare parts. Another serious problem is the difficulty in obtaining original components. Many workshops are forced to use non-original or cheaper analogues, which negatively affects the quality of repairs. This leads to a decrease in the reliability of equipment after repair and increases the likelihood of its repeated breakdowns, which reduces customer confidence.

Lack of quality standards and control. In Uzbekistan, there is no unified standardization system for repair services, which leads to different levels of quality of work in different workshops. Licensing and certification of technicians is also not always carried out, which reduces customer confidence in the professionalism and reliability of the services provided.

High costs of equipment and training. Workshops face the problem of high costs for purchasing new equipment for repairs, as well as training personnel to work with modern devices. These costs are often unaffordable for many companies, which limits their ability to service advanced models of equipment.

Low level of trust from customers. Due to the use of low-quality spare parts and lack of professionalism in some workshops, many customers prefer to buy new equipment instead of repairing it. This is due to mistrust of the quality of repairs and the lack of warranty obligations on the part of the services.

Competition with unofficial services. There are numerous unlicensed workshops on the market offering services at lower prices. This creates serious competition for official services, which are forced to reduce their prices, which in turn can reduce the level of services provided.

To improve the quality of work and customer confidence in repair shops, it is necessary to solve these problems. Improving the qualifications of specialists, providing access to original components and creating a system of quality standards will help workshops improve their services and become more competitive.

The activities of workshops engaged in the repair of household and computer equipment face a number of serious organizational and economic difficulties that significantly affect their efficiency and profitability.

Incorrect organization of the work process. One of the main problems is the insufficient organization of work within the workshops. In many cases, there are no clearly established rules for conducting business and distributing responsibilities among employees. This leads to delays in customer service, a decrease in the quality of work performed and inefficient use of resources.

Lack of finance and high costs. Limited financial resources and high costs are a serious obstacle to modernizing equipment and improving the skills of employees. Technical devices are becoming more complex every year, which requires the use of specialized tools and new technologies. Many workshops simply cannot afford such investments, which reduces their competitiveness in the market.

Pricing difficulties and reduced profitability. Pricing problems also play an important role. The high level of competition in the market forces workshops to reduce prices for their services, which leads to a drop in profits. At the same time, there are illegal workshops on the market that offer their services at reduced prices without providing the necessary quality, which also puts pressure on legitimate businesses.

Limited promotion and marketing opportunities. Workshops often face a lack of funds for marketing activities. This leads to the fact that they cannot effectively promote their services and attract new clients via the Internet and social networks. As a result of the lack of advertising campaigns, potential clients simply do not know about the existence of the workshop.

Low automation of processes. Many workshops do not have automated systems for order management, material accounting and financial planning. This leads to significant time losses and a decrease in overall productivity. Modern automation technologies can significantly improve work efficiency, but their implementation requires significant investments.

High tax burden and administrative barriers. Small and medium businesses in Uzbekistan, including equipment repair workshops, face high tax rates and complex administrative procedures. Constant inspections, licensing and other barriers often become additional obstacles to business development.

In order for workshops to develop successfully, it is necessary to solve problems related to management, finance and marketing. The introduction of modern automation technologies and optimization of internal processes will help improve their competitiveness and increase the level of services provided.

To improve the efficiency of workshops for the repair of household, computer and other equipment, it is necessary to use comprehensive measures that cover both organizational and technical aspects. Below are the main approaches that can help improve the work of such workshops.

Implementation of automated control systems. Automation of business processes is a key factor in increasing efficiency. The use of specialized software for managing orders, clients, warehouse stocks and finances allows you to reduce errors, minimize manual labor and optimize the use of resources. It also helps to speed up the execution of work and improve interaction with clients due to the transparency of work.

Improving the skills of employees. The constant development of technology requires specialists to have skills in working with new types of equipment and tools. Regular courses and seminars on the repair of modern equipment help employees maintain a high level of competence. This is important not only for the quality of work, but also for increasing the competitiveness of the workshop in the market.

Modernization of tools and equipment. Outdated equipment can significantly reduce work efficiency. Investing in modern repair equipment and diagnostic systems allows you to quickly find and fix faults, thereby improving the quality of service. In addition, upgrading equipment can reduce the cost of repair and maintenance of equipment.

Active promotion of services. The success of a workshop directly depends on its recognition. Developing a professional website, active social media management and an effective advertising campaign help expand the customer base. Investments in marketing pay off, increasing the flow of customers and the workshop's income.

Expanding the range of services provided. Modern customers appreciate workshops that offer additional services, such as advice on the operation of equipment or preventive maintenance. This not only increases customer loyalty, but also helps attract new ones.

Improving customer service. High customer service is key to the success of any business. Quick response to requests, transparent repair conditions and quality guarantees help create a positive impression on customers. This not only attracts new customers, but also helps to return old ones.

Rationalization of expenses and planning. The financial stability of a workshop depends on proper resource management. Constant control of expenses, profit analysis and development of a long-term financial strategy help not only to reduce costs, but also to ensure stable growth of the workshop.

The use of these methods and approaches helps to increase the workshop's productivity, improve the quality of service and strengthen its position in the market.

The introduction of modern technologies in equipment repair shops can significantly increase their productivity, improve the quality of service and reduce operating costs. Let's consider the main areas in which the use of innovative technologies will be most useful for workshops.

Automation of management processes and service. Customer relationship management (CRM) systems allow you to automate work with orders and accounting of customer information. The implementation of such systems helps to optimize service processes, improve control over the fulfillment of orders and increase the transparency of work. As a result, workshops can more effectively manage requests and interactions with customers.

Use of digital diagnostic equipment. The latest diagnostic devices based on digital technologies allow for more accurate and faster diagnostics of faults. This reduces the time it takes to find problems and increases the accuracy of repairs, which is especially important when working with high-tech devices such as computers and consumer electronics.

Creation of online platforms for interaction with customers. In the modern world, the digitalization of interaction with customers is becoming increasingly important. The introduction of online platforms for scheduling repairs, tracking the status of orders, and receiving consultations significantly simplifies the service process. Customers can quickly and easily obtain the information they need, which increases their satisfaction and trust in the service.

Using 3D printing to produce parts. 3D printing technology can be used to create complex and rare parts that are difficult to obtain on the market. This significantly speeds up the repair process, since parts can be manufactured on site instead of ordered from afar. In addition, this reduces the costs of workshops for purchasing rare spare parts.

Using mobile applications for remote maintenance. Mobile applications allow workshops to provide remote consultations and even carry out diagnostics at a distance. Customers can contact a technician, get recommendations for eliminating minor faults, or order repairs without leaving home. This increases convenience for customers and expands the range of services of workshops.

Virtual and augmented reality for training and diagnostics. VR and AR technologies can be useful for training employees in new repair methods and working with modern equipment. AR can also be used to remotely diagnose faults, which simplifies the work of technicians and speeds up the repair process.

Use of cloud technologies. Cloud storage systems provide reliable and convenient access to information about customers and orders. Data is stored on cloud servers, which ensures its safety and availability at any time. This simplifies information management and reduces the risk of its loss.

The use of modern technologies in the activities of equipment repair shops not only increases their competitiveness, but also makes their services higher quality and more in demand.

Based on the conducted research on the activities of equipment repair shops in Uzbekistan, it can be noted that there is a need to introduce innovative solutions and modernize the repair process. Traditional work methods used in most workshops no longer meet modern consumer demands, which affects the efficiency and competitiveness of these enterprises. The introduction of modern technologies, such as automation of management processes, the use of digital tools for diagnostics, the development of online platforms for interaction with customers and the use of 3D printing, can significantly improve the quality of services and reduce service time. It is also worth paying attention to improving the skills of employees through modern educational technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality. Using these solutions will not only increase productivity, but also improve the professional skills of workers.

Organizational and economic problems that workshops face require reform. Optimization of internal processes, improved financial management and interaction with suppliers can help reduce costs and increase profitability.

In conclusion, it can be concluded that the future of equipment repair workshops in Uzbekistan depends on the introduction of modern technologies and improvement of business processes, which will satisfy customer demands and contribute to the sustainable development of the sector.
