PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF THEIR SOLUTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN TURKMENISTAN
Abstract: this article describes the problems and ways to solve them. Environmental education (EE) is defined as education that helps people gain more knowledge about the environment and develop responsible environmental behaviors and skills so that they can improve the quality of the environment. Currently, in Turkmenistan, environmental education is taught in schools, universities, and many organizations have been created in order to better know the environment of our country.

Environmental Education (EE) is defined as education that helps individuals to become more knowledgeable about their environment and to develop responsible environmental behavior and skills so that they can improve the quality of the environment. Whether we bring nature into the classroom, take students outside to learn, or find improvised teachable moments on a nature walk with our families, EE has many benefits for youth, educators, schools, and communities.
Environmental education helps us explore the problems the environment is facing and create awareness about those issues. A profound understanding of the environment will assist us in tackling these issues efficiently.
Environmental education bestows students with appropriate skills, knowledge, behaviors, and attitudes to cope with a rapidly changing world and climate and
promotes both personal and systemic transformation towards more sustainable lifestyles.
Meanwhile, building strategies to boost and sustain nature is also part of environmental education. Research has shown that educating students about sustainability and climate change not only motivates but also improves attitudes to learning and well-being, in turn advancing their academic and personal development.
Like, nowadays in our country ecological education is taking part at schools, universities and many organizations were formed to establish and to get to know the environment of our country well. The Nature Protection Society of Turkmenistan and "Ya§ tebigat?y" organizations are gathering volunteers and young people to travel the nature, and historical places to show the natural beauty of our rich country to the young people and encourage them to protect it.
