This study focuses on analyzing the portrayal of a father figure in the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, a renowned Turkmen poet of the 18th century. The aim of the research is to explore the theme of respect towards fathers and family values depicted in his verses, and their significance within the cultural heritage of Central Asia. The methodology involves analyzing Fragi's poetic works to identify key motifs and imagery related to fatherhood, as well as investigating the socio-cultural context influencing the formation of these themes in his literary oeuvre. The findings of the study will contribute to a better understanding of the role of family and family values in Magtymguly's poetry and their importance for the cultural heritage of the region.

PORTRAIT OF A FATHER IN THE POETRY OF MAGTYMGULY FRAGI: ANALYSIS OF THE THEME OF RESPECT AND FAMILY

VALUES

Abstract: This study focuses on analyzing the portrayal of a father figure in the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, a renowned Turkmen poet of the 18th century. The aim of the research is to explore the theme of respect towards fathers and family values depicted in his verses, and their significance within the cultural heritage of Central Asia. The methodology involves analyzing Fragi's poetic works to identify key motifs and imagery related to fatherhood, as well as investigating the socio-cultural context influencing the formation of these themes in his literary oeuvre. The findings of the study will contribute to a better understanding of the role offamily and family values in Magtymguly's poetry and their importance for the cultural heritage of the region.

Magtymguly Frag, one of the most revered poets in Turkmen literature, is known for his profound insights into human nature, society, and spirituality. Among the myriad themes explored in his poetry, the portrayal of fatherhood stands out as a recurring motif, reflecting the poet's reverence for paternal authority and the importance of family values in Turkmen culture. In this article, we delve into the poetry of Magtymguly Frag to analyze the theme of respect and family values as depicted through the portrayal of fathers in his works.

Paternal Authority and Guidance: In Magtymguly Frag's poetry, fathers are often portrayed as figures of authority and wisdom, revered for their role as providers, protectors, and mentors within the family unit.
