The international Slavic studies e-journal "Philological Studies" is a renowned interdisciplinary journal in the field of the humanities, that for two decades has been fostering dialogue between the peoples, cultures and traditions of: Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Russia and Serbia. It's most important and recognizable feature has been to continuously monitor and present what the situation is in the cultures of individual countries through relevant scientific research. The journal was created as a product of the multinational university project "Филологические заметки/Filoloske pripombe" (Philological Notes), which started in the now distant 2022 as a three-year inter-university collaboration between the Faculty of Philology at the Perm State University in Russia and Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. In the following period, they were successively joined by the Institute of Macedonian Literature at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University from Macedonia (2006), the Faculty of Philosophy from the University of Zagreb, Croatia (2007) and the Institute for Literature and Art from Belgrade, Serbia (2014). As part of the project in 2007, the International Interdisciplinary Slavic Studies e-journal "Philological studies" was registered in the international database ISSN 1857-6060, with the international domain www.philologi-calstudies.org, based in the Institute of Macedonian Literature at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Macedonia), which continued to exist as a successor to the eponymous project. In 2019, thejour-nal received a digital object identifier D01:10.17072/1817-6060, which enabled its greater visibility and easier access for scientific researchers.

We would like to take this occasion to remember and highlight the innovative ideas and contributions of the first Editorial Board of the e-journal, consisting of: Prof. Dr. Jasmina Mojsieva-Gusheva (editorin-chief), Prof. Dr. Tamara Erofeyeva (Russian Federation), Prof. Dr. Zvonko Kovac (Croatia), Prof. Dr. Ziga Knap (Slovenia) that aimed at introducing, presenting, bringing together and respecting the cultures of the participating countries. This concept proved to be very successful, as evidenced by the great interest to join the journal from other Slavic countries, which we believe will happen in the near future. Its long-term existence, first of all, is the result of the enthusiasm of all the stakeholders involved in its implementation throughout all these past years - full of numerous challenges, often operating without basic financial means, yet all of them have contributed in different ways to the successful realization of the journal. Therefore, on this occasion, we want to mention the first members of the Editorial Board: Prof. Dr. Maksim Karanfilovski (Macedonia), Assoc. Prof. Natalia V. Boronikova (Russian Federation), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Namita Subiotto (Slovenia), Prof. Dr. Boris Kondakov (Russian Federation), Assoc. Prof. Dr. LidijaTanturovska (Macedonia), Prof. Dr. BiljanaRistovska-Josifovska (Macedonia), Assoc. Prof. Marija B. Proskurnina (Russian Federation), Prof. Dr. Borislav Pavlovski (Croatia), Prof. Dr. Miha Pintaric (Slovenia), Prof. Dr. Julija A. Levitsky (Russian Federation), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irina N. Tsukina (Russian Federation), Prof. Dr. Zeljka Fink-Arsovski (Croatia), Prof. Dr. Ivan Djeparovski (Macedonia), Prof. Dr. Janez Vrecko (Slovenia), Asst. Goce Smilevski, MA (Macedonia), Asst. Ivica Bakovic, MA (Croatia).

Over the years, the journal grew and developed thanks to colleagues from various universities, whom we would also like to thank, such as: Prof. Dr. Darin Angelovski (Macedonia), Dr. LidijaDelic (Serbia), Prof. Dr. Mladen Uhlik (Slovenia), Prof. Dr. Ivana Latkovic (Croatia), Dr. Marija Sarovic (Serbia), Dr. Tijana Tropin (Serbia), Prof. Dr. Svetalna J. Koroleva (Russian Federation), Dr. Bojan Colak (Serbia), Dr. Predrag Todorovic (Serbia), Prof. Dr. Durda Strsoglavec (Slovenia), Prof.

Konstantin I. Igorevich (Russian Federation), Prof. Dr. Olena Goroshko (Ukraine), Prof. Dr. Matej Sekli (Slovenia), prof. Dr. Sanjin Kodric (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Prof. Dr. Robert Hodel (Germany), Prof. Dr. Branko Tosovic (Austria), Prof. Dr. Oksana Mitikenko (Ukraine), Dr. Igor Perisic (Serbia , Asst. Prof. Ph.D. Branka Barcot (Croatia), Asst. Prof. Dr. Natalia Shustemova (Russian Federation), Zharko Ivanov, MA (Macedonia), who, with their dedication and faith in the concept of the journal, contributed undoubtedly to its recognition and affirmation in the cultures where they come from. The fact should be noted that over the past period, a large number of prominent professionals and cultural workers, esteemed in their fields, have participated in the development and editing of thejournal, which is why the magazine is characterized by a serious, selective (peer-reviewed) and expert approach. The pages of the journals contain articles by renowned cultural and scientific workers from various countries: Macedonia, the Russian Federation, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Hungary, Estonia, Slovakia, Turkey, USA, South Korea, etc. Their academic and scientific research results have led to the writing and publication of important papers, which have raised numerous issues related to both the past, as well as the most current problems of today. They serve to present and analyze knowledge from various areas of disciplines related to human civilization and culture, such as: philosophy, anthropology, archeology, history, sociology, literature and linguistics. The presented materials have attracted the attention of the world public with their complexity and diversity of spiritual wealth. They show us the features of the original civilizational heritage, treated through modern methods and examined with an inquisitive and critical spirit, characteristic of this new era, as presented in the following rubrics: Philosophical-cultural issues; History and Philology; The word in a historical-cul-turological context (Comparative aspect); Literature in an intercultural context; Contemporary society in culture, language and literature; Study of speech. Linguodidactics and Reviews. Sometimes academic

requirements led to published editions to be edited thematically, but due care has always been taken for the established rubrics to be represented. In 2022, 5he international interdisciplinary Slavic studies e-journal "Philological Studies" celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking the fruitful and continuous inter-university scientific cooperation. On that occasion, the first issue in 2023 is dedicated to providing an overview and summary of the previous international cooperation with the relevant scientific and educational institutions, through publication of a detailed bibliography of all that was published to date on the pages of the " Philological Studies ", prepared by Dr. Tamara Kjupeva, research associate in the Department of Bibliography, Documentation and Informatics at the Institute of Macedonian Literature in Skopje. The bibliography covers the period from 2002 to 2022 and lists a total of 855 bibliographic units - signed by 532 authors, applying the chronological-descriptive and analytical-scientific methodological standards in librarian science. It is also accompanied by an Impressum, which contains all the necessary information about the journal, as well as a Registry of represented authors. Due to the classification of the data according to the represented disciplinary rubrics, it was not necessary to prepare a separate subject registry. The applied methodology facilitates its use, enabling transparency and quick access to all the presented data. We have to especially highlight the fact that the journal "Philological Studies" is included, indexed and archived in the Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL), the Russian Science Citation Index (RINC), the Croatianjournal portal Hrcak, the American Modern Language Association (MLA) and in the EBSCO database. This high profile presence and openness, together with its policy to publish in six languages (Macedonian, Slovenian, Croatian, Russian, Serbian and English) and to be available to the world public through modern internet technologies, provides a great opportunity for the presentation and promotion of Slavic studies not only in the countries that are involved in its realization, but also worldwide.

It is of primary importance for Slavic studies that the e-journal has maintains its continuous international cooperation for the past twenty years, raising different issues related to national identities, the material and spiritual heritage, but also to contemporary developments in: the Macedonian, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian and Russian cultural environment. Its permanent mission is the creation and promotion of true values and the encouragement of scientific and cultural exchange between the peoples in the Slavic world. We believe that the magazine "Philological Studies" will continue to exist and be synonymous with the act of cultural and scientific valorization, as well as maintain international recognition.

Skopje, June, 2023. Prof. Dr. JasminaMojsieva- Gusheva,

Editor-in-chief
