ORGANIZATION OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR ELDERLY CITIZENS
Abstract: due to the fact that there is an increase in the number of elderly people in the social structure of the population, new social needs arise. To meet these social needs, one of the priority areas of social policy today is social services and the provision of social services. The work examined the organization and revealed the specifics of providing social services to elderly citizens in the Belgorod region.

Citizens with disabilities recognized as needing social services are provided with the following types of social services in all forms of social services: socio-domestic, socio-medical, socio-psychological, socio-pedagogical, socio-labor, socio-legal and services in order to increase the communication potential of recipients of social services with disabilities, including children with disabilities.
To determine the individual needs of a citizen in social services, an assessment of the conditions of his life is carried out, as well as an assessment of the degree of loss of the ability or opportunity to carry out self-care, move independently, provide basic life needs due to illness, injury, age or the presence of disability.
Based on the established need (health, living conditions, family composition, age, social status, nature of circumstances that worsen or may worsen living conditions, depending on outside assistance) an individual program is being developed, which specifies the form of social services, types, scope, frequency, conditions, terms of

provision of social services, a list of recommended social service providers, as well as social support measures taking into account the need to receive services. The need of citizens who have lost the ability to self-serve in the municipalities of the region is fully covered by the current network of social service organizations.
Social service organizations take measures to ensure a decent quality of life with a possible level of self-realization, independence, autonomy and active activity of the elderly and disabled in the Belgorod region. In addition, together with medical organizations, inpatient replacement technologies are being introduced: "Nurse Service," "Sanatorium at Home," "Foster Care," "Kindergarten for the Elderly," the organization of the work of which is aimed at protecting the health and rehabilitation of citizens in difficult life situations, as well as creating conditions for preventing the development of negative consequences and various social problems, mobilizing hidden reserves, the ability of a person to cope with the problems that have arisen. The social effect of hospital replacement technologies is to ensure the possibility of obtaining qualified care and support at the place of residence without hospitalization and therefore improving the quality of life of elderly people.
The activities of the projects will make it possible to form a modern model of long-term medical and social care for citizens of old and old age on the principles of continuity of patient management in the provision of primary and specialized medical care, and interdepartmental interaction of health and social protection services in order to preserve or restore the ability of citizens to self-care, physical and functional activity, independence from outside assistance in everyday life.
On the basis of the MBU "Comprehensive Center for Social Services of the Population of the City of Belgorod" (hereinafter referred to as the Center), the social service "Mobile Brigade" was created, which provides urgent social services to elderly citizens, disabled people and families in difficult life situations living in the city of Belgorod. The mobile team leaves at the request of citizens, as well as at the request of officials of local governments and public organizations.
Services provided free of charge: advisory, socio-psychological, socio-legal. Also paid services: social and household services, social and medical, sanitary and hygienic services.
Additionally, in the Center you can get advice from a psychologist, rehabilitologist, lawyer.
The level of satisfaction with the quality of social services provided in the Belgorod region in 2022 amounted to 100 percent.
