Using video in non-traditional forms of English language teaching helps to implement the most important requirement of the communicative method - to present the process of language acquisition as comprehension of a living foreign language culture. Another advantage of video lessons as an unconventional form of English language lessons is that the video has a great emotional impact on students. Therefore, attention should be directed to the formation of students' personal attitude to what they saw. The use of video also helps to develop various aspects of students' mental activity, especially attention and memory. While watching in the classroom, there is an atmosphere of joint cognitive activity. The use of various channels for receiving information in a video lesson has a positive effect on the strength of capturing country-specific and language material. There are, of course, many non-standard forms of teacher work that activate attention in the classroom, and therefore students' interest in a foreign language. One of them is considered to be working on a movie in a video lesson. This is an effective form

of non-traditional lesson that not only activates children's attention, but also helps to improve their listening and speaking skills.

Interest in the film increases the children's interest in the English language, which confirms their obvious desire to become active participants in conditional speech situations modeled by the teacher, aimed at performing various grammatical exercises of communicative orientation for working out the studied phenomena of the English language in the speech of students.

Lesson-project as a non-traditional form of English lesson

Project methodology-as an unconventional form of the lesson, differs the cooperative nature of completing tasks when working on a project, the activities that are carried out in this case are inherently creative and focused on the student's personality. It assumes a high level of individual and collective responsibility for each project development task. When selecting a project topic, the teacher should focus on the interests and needs of students, their capabilities and personal significance of the upcoming work, the practical significance of the result of work on the project. The completed project can be presented in a variety of forms: article, recommendations, album, collage, and many others. There are also various forms of project presentation: a report, a conference, a competition, a holiday, a performance. The main result of working with an unconventional form of the lesson on the project will be updating existing and acquiring new knowledge, skills and abilities and their creative application in new conditions. In the non-traditional form of the lesson, work on the project is carried out in several stages and usually goes beyond the scope of educational activities in the classroom: choosing a topic or problem of the project; forming a group of performers; developing a project work plan, determining deadlines; distributing tasks among students; completing tasks, discussing the results of each task in the group; design of the joint result; project report; project performance assessment.

The use of new information technologies in the educational process allows teachers to implement their pedagogical ideas, present them to colleagues and get a prompt response, and gives students the opportunity to choose their own educational trajectory-the sequence and pace of studying topics, the system of training tasks and tasks, and ways to control knowledge. This is how the most important requirement of modern education is realized - the development of an individual style of activity, a culture of self-determination for the subjects of the educational process, and their personal development.

The modern period of development of a civilized society characterizes the process of Informatization. Informatization of society is a global social process, the peculiarity of which is that the dominant activity in the sphere of public production is the collection, accumulation, processing, storage, transmission and use of information, carried out on the basis of modern computer technology, as well as on the basis of various means of information exchange. The rapid development of computer technology and the expansion of functionality makes it possible to widely use computers at all stages of the educational process: during lectures, practical and laboratory classes, during self-training and for monitoring and self-monitoring the degree of assimilation of educational material. The use of computer technologies has significantly expanded the possibilities of the lecture experiment, allowing you to model various processes and phenomena, the full-scale demonstration of which in the laboratory is technically very difficult or simply impossible.

The considered non-traditional forms of the lesson can be applied to lessons in other subjects with appropriate content adjustments.
