Abstract: Innovative technologies in teaching the English language are particularly important. Using interactive methods are critical in forming and developing students communicative skills based on language, linguistic and socio-cultural knowledge and skills.

Key words: Internet, Innovative technologies, interactive methods, communicative skills.

In modern conditions, the most urgent task of education is the formation of a communicative culture of students. Information and communication technology (ICT) is becoming the most effective tool for teaching a foreign language at the Namangan State University, contributing to the expansion of the educational space of a modern school. Pedagogical mastery is based on the unity of knowledge and skills that correspond to the modern level of development of science, technology and their product of information technology. Currently, you need the ability to receive information from various sources, use it and create it yourself. The widespread use of ICT opens up new opportunities for teachers in teaching a foreign language. As a rule, he refers to information technologies as technologies using such technical means as audio, video, computer, Internet

In teaching a foreign language, computer technologies are widely used. The specificity of a computer as a learning tool is associated with its characteristics such as complexity, versatility, interactivity. Interactive training based on multimedia programs allows you to more fully realize the whole range of methodological, didactic, pedagogical and psychological principles, makes the learning process more interesting and creative. The ability to take into account the level of students' language training is the basis for the implementation of the principles of individualization and a differentiated approach to learning. At the same time, the principle of accessibility is respected and the individual pace of each student is taken into account. Using a computer, you can organize in the lesson an individual, pair and group forms of work. However, it must be remembered that a computer cannot replace a teacher in a lesson. It is necessary to carefully plan the time of work with the computer and use it exactly when it is really needed.

Currently, multimedia technology is widely used. The term "multimedia" means many environments. Such media are text, sound and video. Software products that use all these forms of presentation of information are called multimedia. The use of multimedia teaching aids is a natural stage in the development of pedagogical technologies. An important aspect of the use of ICT in foreign language lessons is project activity. Multimedia presentations are actively included in the learning process. Students use the Internet to collect material for projects. One of the possibilities of using multimedia technologies in the lesson is

the preparation and conduct of integrated lessons. You can conduct a foreign language lesson in a computer classroom by preparing for this a multimedia presentation with a vivid video sequence. The teacher can prepare such a presentation himself or instruct students to create the presentation.

This presentation can be used during various forms of lessons or as a multimedia manual for students to work independently in preparation for the lesson. Traditionally, the study of a topic or section ends with repetition, consolidation and generalization. All these elements can be combined by inviting students to create a multimedia project instead of a traditional essay at the stage that completes each topic. Creating a presentation, students are given a great opportunity to systematize the acquired knowledge and skills, their practical application, as well as the opportunity to realize their intellectual potential and abilities. It is very important for students to feel an interest in independent creative work, to feel the significance of the results of their work, as presentation is a ready-made teaching material for the lesson, as well as to feel your own success. It should be noted that students make multimedia presentations with great interest. This is another incentive to develop students' interest in learning the language and culture of the country of the language being studied. Next, we should focus on multimedia presentations used to develop such a type of speech activity as listening. Learning to listen involves working on two functional types of this type of speech activity: listening in the process of direct communication and listening to coherent texts in an environment of indirect communication. In this paper I want to dwell on the development of distance listening skills among students, because perception and understanding of audio texts in conditions of mediated communication.

The use of multimedia presentations in lessons on developing listening skills has several advantages. One of the main advantages is the ability to provide students with written answers after completing assignments. You can invite students to write down some facts, phrases, sentences based on descriptiveness, which facilitates the process of correct writing for many students. And in the future, use these notes for discussions and monologue statements on the topic, as well as when doing homework. Another positive result of using presentations is the faster pace of the lesson. An even greater interest can be caused by inviting some students to prepare a presentation for the lesson under their supervision. When developing listening lessons, teachers often face the problem of the lack of handouts with assignments. This problem can be solved with the help of multimedia presentations. The content of the presentations may be different: video hint, additional information, text tasks, diagrams and tables.
