In modern times, people's interest in dance culture is steadily growing. Dance art calls for perfection, sings the beautiful in a person, brings up noble feelings, asserts humanistic ideas. An increasing number of people are striving for aesthetic contemplation, and for the practical development of dance art. In modern culture, there is a huge variety of choreographic art directions - from classical ballet to modern dance. Choreography is an art form that allows you to form a harmoniously developed, full-fledged personality with high spiritual and creative potential. The multifunctional possibilities of dance make it possible to involve everyone in choreographic activities, regardless of age, social and gender affiliation, with the aim of their comprehensive and harmonious development.

At the new stage of development of the socio-economic sphere, culture and education, the issues of artistic and creative development of the younger generation are of particular importance. There is an increasing need in society for highly intelligent creative individuals who are able to independently solve emerging difficulties, make non-standard decisions and implement them. Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4585 "On measures to radically improve the system of training highly qualified personnel and further development of scientific potential in the field of dance art" sets the task of modern education "training specialists and highly qualified personnel in accordance with international standards".

One of the leading directions of the cultural policy of modern Uzbekistan is "stimulating the development of artistic creativity, including theatrical, musical, choreographic, variety, circus and folk-applied art, providing all possible assistance to creative collectives, especially creative youth, in creating works reflecting the brightest pages of the history of the people and their modern life, free democratic development of the country".

Dance, as a complex, cultural and multifunctional phenomenon, attracts the attention of many researchers of various scientific fields: cultural studies, history, sociology of culture, social and cultural anthropology, art history. The features of

modern dance are presented in the books by V.Nikitin and A.Zykov. The history of the modern Hip-hop dance direction is considered in the book by Stev Gade "The Fusion of Hip-hop culture and Rastafari". In the psychological and pedagogical literature, the problem of the development of creative individuality in the framework of additional education was considered by scientists T.Arkhangelsk, R.Bogdanova, A.Grishin, etc.

Modern dance today remains poorly involved in the circle of program pedagogical developments.

Since the 60s of the twentieth century, the dance line has become a symbol of the youth environment. Dance is for a young man a sign of his belonging to the official mass or to a subculture challenging it. Modern dance is a special direction of the dance culture of modern society, which characterizes amateur creativity in social, leisure situations and is one of the forms of mass entertainment culture, the most important motive of which is relaxation functions. Modern dance is a special technology of socio-cultural activity, the development of which is conditioned by the factors of fashion, artistic and creative interests of society, standards of informal and alternative leisure.

Modern consumer society as a result of the "superindustrial revolution", thanks to a wide choice of material goods and cultural achievements, generates a "subcultural explosion", directing the younger generation to search for new identities in the field of leisure. Acting as a carrier of new subcultural identities, young people are in constant search of their "I", consciously identifying themselves with "countergroups", informal associations and subcultural trends. Any of such informal associations is constructed through a community of interests, a distinctive appearance and manner of behavior, slang incomprehensible to the surrounding majority.

During the development of industrialization and urbanization, the expansion of the education system, the category of young people undergoing a period of vocational training and intensive intellectual development is increasingly increasing. As a result of independent activity and mental activity, young people form their own worldview, self-awareness deepens, the ability to self-reflection improves, which led to the allocation of a cultural field defined as "youth culture". Youth subcultures can be defined as a system of meanings, means of expression, and lifestyles.

Since the 80s, the dance has been going outside. Modern trends of the youth environment are emerging, the most popular are street dancing (Streetdance), Breakdance, Hip-hop, which differ in certain music, the ability to control your body, an acute sense of rhythm. Youth street dancing is becoming a form of self-expression.

In recent decades, interest in modern dance has increased many times. A huge number of dance schools and studios have opened all over the world, new dance styles are developing. Such enthusiasm for dance persists and is reinforced by the mass media: an increasing number of dance festivals and show programs are being held, broadcast on television and widely covered in the press. A whole industry has been

created for the production of dance video lessons distributed on CDs and on the Internet - especially in social networks, where communities are created-groups uniting fans and professionals of dance culture. Modern dance classes are a unique opportunity to discover yourself in a variety of new roles. The most valuable quality is that during the dance, with the help of it, absolutely anyone will be able to open up, look at themselves in a new way, understand themselves and their inner essence, feel free and meaningful, which is especially important for the younger generation. For several decades, the priority in the development of dance culture belongs to the youth environment. Marketing developments of show business, game technologies, fashion and entertainment industry are aimed at attracting the interest of young people. The diverse genres of modern dance are especially popular among young people, the main criteria of which are the correspondence of their content to the worldview of young people.

Modern youth is a specific component of society. Her interests and cultural life differ from the interests of representatives of other age groups. Young people are actively interested in art, religion and fashion, painting and computer, sports and graffiti. One of the features of youth culture is its heterogeneity. The youth environment, due to its age, socio-psychological and ideological features, is in dire need of socio-cultural identification, and therefore, to a greater extent than other social and age groups, it is susceptible to transformational processes associated with the assimilation of value systems, norms that form certain forms of behavior. Youth is a special period of active formation of a stable system of values, the formation of self-awareness and social status of the individual. A new generation of young people listening to electro-rap, dancing Hip-hop and Breakdance, engaged in extreme sports, strives for creative self-expression and development (internalization) of the surrounding world in peculiar subcultural forms.

It is generally recognized that dancing is one of the favorite and popular forms of art - it provides ample opportunities for the physical, aesthetic and ethical education of the younger generation. In modern dance culture, there is a maximum variety of directions. New dance directions are constantly appearing, existing ones are being improved. Dance is in close interaction with the leading cultural trends of the XXI century, according to which its means of plastic expression are changing.

Modern dance includes such types of artistic activity that include the interrelation of individual motor and emotional expressiveness and lead to the creation of a new choreographic product that does not rely on a predetermined choreographic recording of the dance. In order to understand what is the value of modern forms of dance, it is necessary to look into the essence of the dance direction - the nature of the choreographic content. From the analysis it is possible to draw certain conclusions about the aesthetic and artistic content of various popular dances - a striking distinctive feature of modern dances is that they are very dynamic, accentuated rhythmic. Initially,

modern dances, which were previously a street pastime, are distinguished by improvisation and creativity.

Social dances are becoming an integral part of popular culture. Social modern dances are quickly and easily studied and do not require professional training; do not require a special platform, clothes or shoes; include improvisation associated with the momentary mood; are a pleasant pastime and communication of interests. Social dances serve a greater degree of informal communication and faster socialization in society, many people, having found a certain hobby in dancing, find friends with interests there.

An increasing number of people are striving not only for aesthetic contemplation, but also for the practical development of dance art, and dance is firmly included in the daily life of almost every member of society.

Dance is closely involved in the life of young people, for whom it becomes a means of self-expression, self-identification and creative realization. The wide spread of modern style dance practices is explained by the possibility of developing and realizing creative and personal potential.

Modern dance trends contribute to both the education of the individual and the process of self-development. Youth dances are powerful levers for the formation of socialization, tolerance and communication. The international nature of modern youth dance is the essence of its content. He strives for interethnic dialogue and international openness as ways to overcome cultural contradictions in the global space. Modern dance contains actual mechanisms of socialization of young people, focused on the formation of positive ideological and value attitudes. Thinking freed from social and cultural prejudices is capable of a broader development of its creative abilities.

The specificity of modern dance makes it possible to use it as a means of developing the creative individuality of adolescents: modern dance is a creative activity that satisfies a teenager's need for self-knowledge, self-expression, self-presentation and self-development, which is a necessary condition for the development of individuality at this age. Modern dance helps to expand creative and personal potential, get rid of various psychological complexes, teaches friendship.

Dance promotes the independent development of aesthetic culture, the development of genuine spiritual values. Modern choreography occupies an important place in the cultural and social life of modern society.
