As well as there are some reasons, decrees, solutions that is directed to prevent COVID-19 and the instructions which can be used under this pandemic situation.

MEASURES TAKEN TO PREVENT CORONAVIRUS INFECTION IN

SAMARKAND REGION

Annotation: This article provides information on measures taken to prevent coronavirus infection in Samarkand region and their application among the population. As well as there are some reasons, decrees, solutions that is directed to prevent COVID-19 and the instructions which can be used under this pandemic situation.

Relevance of the topic: The most widely used word in the world dictionary today is "Coronavirus". Initially, COVID-19, which spread in China, was found to be a completely different and new, unprecedentedly aggressive virus. By March 2020, the spread of the virus worldwide and the number of deaths had surpassed the high level of the epidemic observed in China. The infection spread in a short time, at a high rate. There is almost no country on earth that has not been directly or indirectly affected by the coronavirus. The disease has also affected economically developed countries, where health care systems are equipped with modern diagnostic tools. In particular, the coronavirus pandemic did not bypass Uzbekistan.

On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization recognized the spread of the new coronavirus as an international health emergency. On March 11, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus officially declared the worldwide spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic.

The purpose of the study: to study the measures developed in Samarkand region to prevent coronavirus infection and their application among the population.

Materials and methods. Decisions, planned measures and their implementation were studied in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Uzbekistan. For this purpose, the data of the Health Department of Samarkand region was used.

Obtained results and their analysis. On January 28, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting to discuss the work done to prevent the spread of the disease and identify additional preventive measures.

On January 29, 2020, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. F-5537 was adopted: "On the establishment of the Republican Special Commission for the preparation of a program of measures to prevent the entry and spread of coronavirus in the Republic of Uzbekistan".

In order to ensure sanitary and epidemiological peace and security of the population in the Republic of Uzbekistan, to organize coordinated activities of state and economic authorities and organizations responsible for preventing the spread of coronavirus infection, to protect the life and health of citizens, the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 176 "On measures" was adopted.

With the purpose of the prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Samarkand region, a number of organizational measures were taken in collaboration with the regional administration, the regional Department of Emergency Situations and other responsible organizations.

In particular, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. F-5537 of January 29, 2020 and the organizational instruction of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1 of February 3, 2020, the order of the Governor of Samarkand region was adopted.

Statement of the 4th meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On preparation of the Republican special commission on measures to prevent the spread and spread of the coronavirus in the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated March 2, 2020 and the First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 3, 2020 No 51. In order to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population on the basis of the instructions given by the order of the Hokim of Samarkand region. The head of the Civil Defense approved and prepared a program of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the region, coordinating regional, city and district headquarters in the regional, district and city emergency departments was established.

The regional health department and regional medical associations have set up emergency teams consisting of ambulance doctors, infectious diseases specialists, resuscitators and epidemiologists, virologists and disinfectants to provide emergency medical care and anti-epidemic measures to patients in case of suspected illness.

Polymerase Chain Reaction carried out laboratory tests of patients suspected of a new strain of coronavirus in the virology laboratory of the Regional

Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance. Measures were taken to diagnose the suspected patient. In addition, COVID-19 tests are carried out in 5 private clinics.

In all districts and cities of the region, biological samples were taken from citizens suspected of coronavirus infection and tested by Polymerase Chain Reaction in the regional Sanitary Epidemiology Peace Center virological laboratory.

Another effective work aimed at the systematic organization of activities is the work of the Samarkand State Medical Institute with the participation of 102 volunteers, teachers, staff and students with the participation of 1105 short number "CALL-CENTER" and more than 20 specialists. An online polyclinic has been set up. In addition, a 150-bed pharmacy hospital has been set up at the Registan Hotel.

Treatment process: There are 19 stationary hospitals with a total capacity of 3030 beds in Samarkand region. Of these, 3 stationary clinics with 1,630 beds were targeted for COVID-19 treatment, as well as 16 stationary (pharmacy) clinics with 1,400 beds for patient treatment until COVID-19 was approved. In particular, in order to provide medical care to identified patients, places were allocated in the departments of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Regional Cardiology Dispensary, SamMI-2 Clinic.

- Samarkand Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital with 350 beds, all supplied with oxygen;

- Samarkand regional special treatment and screening center for 1080 beds, all of which are supplied with oxygen;

In addition, 1 Distribution and Sorting Center for 200 people was established and all places were provided with oxygen.

❖ In clinics focused on the treatment of COVID- 19:

The number of resuscitation beds - 160, 32 - , 80 - syringe dispenser, 30 - cardio monitor and 160 - oxygen supply, the number of therapeutic beds - 1270, 1270 (all) - oxygen supply.

❖ Until COVID-19 is approved, in patient-oriented (pharmacist) clinics, Distribution, and Selection Centers:

The number of resuscitation beds - 125, 20 - IVL, 55 - syringe dispenser, 35 - cardio monitor and 125 - oxygen supply.

The number of therapeutic beds - 1275, 300 beds - provided with oxygen.

Conclusion: After all, no disaster can be overcome where there is no sense of responsibility. Thus, during a pandemic, our responsibility must be higher than ever. The coronavirus pandemic is putting the whole world to the test. In such a difficult time, no one has the right to be indifferent.
