Abstract. A marketing study of the Russian pharmaceutical market offood products with the addition of milk proteins was carried out. The study revealed that the leading position in the Russian pharmaceutical market is occupied by products for artificial nutrition, which is 37.91%; diet food - 29.95%; in the form of soy-protein cocktails - 7.11%; for sports nutrition - 5.69%; complementary foods - 5.69%. Other food products with the addition of milk proteins account for 13.74% of the total assortment. In particular, the smallest amount is occupied by products for medical nutrition intended for children with phenylketonuria aged from 1 year - 0.47%; protein-energy cocktails to support a weakened body - 1.42%; specialized products of children's dietary (therapeutic) nutrition for children from 0 to 1 year old, patients with type 1 glutaric aciduria - 2.36%.

The Russian pharmaceutical market is mainly represented by food products that belong to the group of classic milk powder mixtures (45.18%), intended mainly for artificial nutrition, used in liquid dosage form (82.00%) and related to classic foods with the addition of milk proteins (51.00%). It was also noted that the bulk of food products are represented by foreign producers (71.56%). The degree of renewal is 35.07%, which indicates a sufficient level of renewal of the range offood products with the addition of milk proteins.

Introduction. An important condition for optimal physical and mental development of a person is a rational and balanced diet, maintaining its high performance, increasing the body's ability to withstand the effects of adverse environmental factors. At the same time, providing adequate nutrition for the entire population is the main factor in social stability. It is the quality and balance of nutrition that determines the health of each person.

In recent years, the development of a new direction in the food industry, the so-called functional nutrition, has received wide recognition all over the world. A functional food product is a food product intended for systematic use as part of diets by all age groups of a healthy population, which reduces the risk of developing nutrition-related diseases, maintains and improves health due to the presence of physiologically functional food ingredients in its composition. Functional nutrition allows not only to maintain health, but also to a certain extent supplement medicines [1].

The global market for health products, including functional, hypoallergenic, organic and others, was worth $1 trillion (€770 million) in 2021. To date, it has been established that dairy products dominate the global market for functional products, totaling 72.90% [2].

In general, the entire studied market has shown steady growth over the past three years -20.00-26.00% every year. At the same time, different segments behave unevenly, but according to the results of three years, there is a positive increase in all: baby food - 14.00%, medical nutrition - 25.00%, products for people with phenylketonuria - 29.00%, enteral nutrition - 13 .00%, additional meals -62.00%.

The largest share in the studied market in terms of sales is occupied by the Baby food segment - 34.00%, followed by two comparable segments -enteral nutrition and products for people with phenylketonuria (21% each).

Dairy products have a high nutritional value and preventive properties to normalize the activity of the gastrointestinal tract due to the presence of vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B11, D, E, microelements, biologically active fibers, iodized protein, biologically active additives (vetoron ), fluorine, mesophilic lactic acid organisms, starter cultures on

pure cultures of propionic acid bacteria, calcium, bifido-, lacto- and acidophilic bacteria.

Whey is the liquid that remains after curdling and straining milk and is also a by-product in the production of cheese, cottage cheese or casein and has commercial applications [3]. In the past few years, the volume of whey production in Russia has increased annually. However, domestic production of dry whey does not cover consumption due to the weak development of processing. According to the Independent Expert Evaluation Center of Russia, only 21.00% of whey is used for further processing. The remaining 79.00% is either fed to farm animals or is not used at all and is discharged into fields or wastewater.

In the manufacture of whey, almost the entire chemical composition is transferred from milk. These are lactoglobulins, lactoalbumins, immunoglobulins, highly dispersed milk fats, minerals and salts.

70% whey consists of lactose, protein and non-protein compounds that make up the amino acid complex. Protein nitrogenous compounds range from 0.50 to 0.80% and depend on the method of coagulation of the product [4]. The composition of the amino acid complex of whey includes:

• lactoalbumin fractions: lactoglobulin A, lactoglobulin B (0.50%), lactoglobulin B +, lactoglobulin C, serum albumin (0.60%);

• lactoglobulin fractions: ovoglobulin, pseudoglobulin (0.8%);

• proteose-peptone fraction (0.18%).

Dry whey is used in food production (48.00%) and as feed for farm animals (52.00%). In the production of baby food products, more than 75.00% of the volume of demineralized whey, 54.00% of the volume of whey protein concentrate are used [5]. Whey protein isolate is used in sports nutrition and medicine. In the period 2017-2021, whey production in Russia increased by an average of 6.90% per year. The production of dry whey grew even faster - by 11.50% per year [6].

Child and adolescent nutrition is closely related to metabolic processes in the body and is one of the key factors determining the growth rate of the child, its harmonious development, the ability to various types and forms of education, an adequate immune response, resistance to infections and other adverse environmental influences.

To date, it has been established that breast milk is also a potential source of some previously unrecognized biologically active entities. One recent and very exciting finding is the demonstration that the exosomes purified from breast milk are able to promote intestinal epithelial cell growth in infants even when they are formula feeding [7]. The committed stem cell progeny are seen as an important source of human stem cells for therapeutic purposes [8] A substantial proportion of cells in cultures established from donor milk were positively stained for cytokeratin 5 (CK5+), a mammary stem cell marker. In the lactating mammary gland, CK5+ cells usually present in the alveoli and ducts of the epithelium and most probably they represent the source of CK5+ cells in cultures obtained from donor milk [9]. Based on these data, it can be assumed that breast milk stem cells may be additional factors in the usefulness of such products, including in neurodegeneration and brain damage, underestimated today.

To date, there is a study on the creation of a construct to obtain the first rabbit-producers of human heat shock protein. The protein will be isolated from the milk of genetically modified animals. Hsp104 is a stress tolerance factor that promotes the reactivation of heat-damaged proteins in yeast. Hsp104 is a member of the HSP100/Clp family of oligomeric atphases (38). Representatives of Escherichia coli of this family, in particular ClpA and ClpX, are involved in protein turnover. Neither ClpA nor ClpX have intrinsic proteolytic activity. Rather, both proteins mediate the ATP-dependent turnover of their substrates through physical association with the unbound oligomeric protease ClpP. Refolding from the aggregated state requires not only Hsp104, but also additional specific chaperones—SSA-encoded Hsp70, a DnaK homologue, and YDJ1-encoded Hsp40, a DnaJ homologue. Together, these proteins constitute a protein refolding machine with new activities [10].

From 2016 to 20, the natural volume of baby food exports from Russia increased by 53.50%: from 64.8 to 99.5 thousand tons. Every year, the indicator showed an increase at rates from 6.10% to 33.40%, the only exception was 2020, when Russian supplies abroad decreased by 1.1%.

The problem of organizing the nutrition of young children - from 1 to 3 years old often escapes the attention of pediatricians and nutritionists. The reason, apparently, is the significant emphasis on feeding a child in the first year of life as the most vulnerable period of childhood. At the same time, the physiological and biochemical characteristics of a child of 1 -3 years of age are not taken into account, the continuing high rates of growth and development

impose special requirements on both the qualitative and quantitative components of the diet. Typical mistakes in organizing the nutrition of children in the first years of life are a quick transfer to a common table, the use of products that do not correspond to the age and individual characteristics of the child. As a result, there is a wide prevalence of alimentary-dependent conditions among this age category [11].

An equally important problem in the world is the development of phenylketonuria among young children. Phenylketonuria and other hyperphenylalaninemias are a group of autosomal recessive diseases associated with impaired metabolism of the amino acid phenylalanine, which leads to severe damage to the central nervous system and progression of mental retardation.

The population genetics of phenylketonuria, like most autosomal recessive diseases, is complex. The high incidence of the disease in Sicily (1 per 2700 newborns), Iran (1:3627), Turkey (1:4200) is due to the large number of consanguineous marriages, for the same rank, pterin-dependent forms of hyperphenylalaninemia are more common in Turkey, Saudi Arabia Arabia [12]. On the contrary, extremely low levels are observed in Scandinavian populations, especially in Finland (1:100,000) and Sweden (1:43,230), as well as in Japan (1:80,500 - 1:125,000). The frequency of phenylketonuria in Europe is on average 1 per 10,000 newborns, but it varies among the population of different regions: for example, in Ireland 1:4500, Belarus 1:6000, Estonia 1:8090, while in Hungary 1:11 000, Germany 1: 12,000; France 1:13,500; :18,000 in the Republic of Tyva, with a national average of 1 in 7142 newborns.

One of the most important problems of our time is the birth of very premature babies. Over the past two decades, the incidence of preterm births at low gestational ages (before 32 weeks) has increased and the survival rate of premature babies has increased [13]. However, the state of health of such children and ways to improve it remain one of the leading problems of modern neonatology and pediatrics. The current demographic situation, as well as the deteriorating health indicators of women of childbearing age, attach particular importance to saving the life and maintaining the health of every newborn child. The birth rate of premature babies in the world ranges from 4.00 to 16.00%. In the United States, low birth weight was noted in 8.30% of newborns, very low (from 1000 to 1500 grams) - in 1.48%. In Europe, from 1.10 to 1.60% of children are born very preterm .

According to Rosstat, slightly less than 5% of children are born prematurely in Russia every year. This number includes infants born before 37 completed weeks of gestation. Since 2015, doctors in

our country have begun to save and nurse babies born at 22 weeks of gestation and older, and weighing more than 500 grams.

Also, one of the big consumers of milk proteins is the sports nutrition market. In Russia, it almost entirely consists of goods imported into the country. The volume of imported products in value terms at the end of2021 amounted to 1,707.51 million rubles, with 43.23% made up of protein mixtures and 16.9% - creatine [14].

Today, it can be confidently stated that the volume of sports nutrition sales will continuously grow, as the number of fitness centers is constantly increasing, and the culture of sports nutrition consumption is also increasing. It should also be noted that the sports nutrition market in Russia is gradually developing due to the growth in the standard of living of the population and the constant expansion of the range.

The purpose of the study: marketing research of the Russian pharmaceutical market of food products with the addition of milk proteins

Objects: State Register of Medicines and Medical Devices; Register of medicines (2022); Handbook Vidal. Medicines in Russia (2022); RLS Drug Handbook (2022).

Research methods: content analysis, structural, graphical, segmental analyses, ranking and grouping, comparisons.

To achieve this goal, a conceptual research model has been developed, which includes 3 stages. The first stage covers the research of scientists aimed at the use of food products with the addition of milk proteins, which are used for various diseases (children's, dietary, medical nutrition), as well as food products for healthy people.

At the second stage, the analysis of the assortment structure of the Russian pharmaceutical

market of food products with the addition of milk proteins was carried out according to various indicators: segmentation by form of release, by purpose, by dosage form, by manufacturer, calculation of the range renewal index.

The final stage is the development of a macro-contour of the assortment of the Russian pharmaceutical market of food products with the addition of milk proteins.

Results оf Research. A content analysis of information and reference literature was carried out, which contains information about registered and approved for medical use food products with the addition of milk proteins.

In the course of the analysis, an information array was compiled, including 211 trade names. It has been established that the assortment structure is represented by trade names, composition, various dosage forms, manufacturers.

According to the form of release, these products are presented in the form of mixtures, drinks, protein shakes, liquid mixtures, creams, cereals, protein bars. When segmenting by form of release, it was revealed that the leading position in the Russian pharmaceutical market is occupied by: classic dry milk mixture, which is 45.97%; dry milk mixture with additives - 18.48%; drink with additives - 7.58%; protein shake with additives - 7.11%, liquid mixture, classic - 5.21%. The smallest percentage falls on: cream with additives - 3.79%, dry mixture based on goat milk - 3.79%, combined porridge with additives - 2.84%, milk monocomponent porridge -1.90%, liquid mixture with additives - 1.42%, protein bar with additives - 0.95%; combined cereals -0.48%; classic drinks - 0.48% of the total assortment.

During segmentation, the study revealed that the leading position in the Russian pharmaceutical market is occupied by: artificial nutrition, which is 37.91%; diet food - 29.86%; soy-protein cocktail -7.11%; sports nutrition - 5.69%; complementary foods - 5.69%. Other food products with the addition of milk proteins account for 13.74% of the total assortment. In particular, the smallest amount is occupied by therapeutic nutrition intended for nutrition of children with phenylketonuria aged from 1 year - 0.47%; protein-energy cocktail to support a weakened body - 1.42%; a specialized product of

children's dietary (therapeutic) nutrition for children aged 0 to 1 years old with type 1 glutaric aciduria -2.36%.

On the basis of production, it was found that the range of food products with the addition of milk proteins is represented mainly by foreign manufacturers and amounts to 71.56%, the range of domestic food products with the addition of milk proteins - 28.44%, respectively.

At the next stage, the structure of foreign food producing countries with the addition of milk proteins was formed (Table 2).

As a result of the analysis, it was found that Germany occupies the leading place among foreign food producing countries - 32.89%, the second place belongs to the Netherlands - 15.79%, and consumers also give priority to Switzerland - 7.24%. The smallest number is occupied by Estonia, Sweden and Ireland, which is 1.32% respectively.

When segmenting the assortment by dosage form, it was revealed that the structure of the products is presented in solid, liquid and soft dosage forms. The leading position in the Russian pharmaceutical market is occupied by a liquid dosage form, which is 82.00%, solid - 14.00%. The smallest amount is occupied by a soft dosage form - 4.00%.

Segmentation by flavoring additives showed that mainly classic food products with the addition of milk proteins without flavoring and aromatic additives are produced on the Russian market (51.00%).

At the next stage, the dynamics of registration of food products was analyzed and the renewal index was calculated for the last five years. The renewal

index (Io) is the proportion of new products introduced into the market during the studied variable period (Formula 2.1).

'o = £

where m is the number of new product items, M is the total number of product items in the range of food products with the addition of milk proteins.

Over the past five years (2017-2021), 74 new drugs have been registered on the Russian pharmaceutical market, respectively, the assortment renewal index was: 74/211=0.35. Given that food products with the addition of milk proteins are quite rare on the pharmaceutical market, this indicator indicates a sufficient level of renewal of the range of these products.

At the final stage, a macro-contour of the assortment of the Russian pharmaceutical market of food products with the addition of milk proteins was developed (Figure 1).

It has been established that the Russian pharmaceutical market is represented mainly by food products that belong to the group of dry milk classic mixtures (45.18%), intended mainly for artificial nutrition (37.91%), used in liquid dosage form (82.00 %), and related to classic food products with the addition of milk proteins (51.00%). It was also noted that the bulk of food products are represented by foreign manufacturers (71.56%). The degree of renewal is 35.07%, which indicates a sufficient level of renewal of the range of food products with the addition of milk proteins.

Conclusion The conducted studies show that foreign manufacturers are leading in terms of production, among which Germany occupies the first position. To increase the renewal index of the domestic pharmaceutical food market, Russian companies should release new products. Especially considering that a sufficient number of dairy products producers have been built in Russia at the moment. It is necessary to introduce mixtures, drinks, protein shakes, creams, cereals, bars into the Russian market both in the classic form of release and with flavoring additives. These products will be of interest to people adhering to dietary, sports nutrition. It is also worth starting the production of products for the dietary

пищевых продуктов с добавлением молочных

nutrition of children with phenylketonuria, since foreign drugs are quite difficult to purchase, and their price category is inaccessible to most Russian consumers.

At the same time, the development of the domestic market of food products with the addition of milk proteins is possible by increasing the range of products on the Russian market, as well as exporting to foreign countries. In addition, for the development of the dietary supplements market, it is possible to use the Hsp 104 protein, which is capable of refolding proteins with increased activity. In addition, breast milk stem cells can become additional factors in the usefulness of such food products that can be used in neurology, sports medicine, pediatrics, neonatology and other areas of medicine, which is an underestimated factor today. The data described above in the future can greatly modify the current market for food products based on milk proteins, and possibly make it more cost-effective.
