In our country, the sphere of small business and private entrepreneurship has been developing and expanding from year to year. For this purpose, the creation of appropriate legal and economic bases in our country serves as a reliable guarantee of the accomplishments.
Analytical information shows that at present, the share of small business and private entrepreneurship in the GDP is 55-60% on average. It can be seen that the growth rate was several times higher than in the first decade of our independence.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Namangan region occupies a prominent position in the area of small business and private entrepreneurship. The gross regional product made up 7541.3 billion soums as of the end of 2015 in the region. At the end of 2016 this indicator increased by UZS 1325.6 billion and amounted to 8866.9 billion soums. The growth rate made up 109.3%. In this regard, the share of small business in the Namangan region's economy is 80.2% or 6048.1 billion soms in 2015, and by 2016 this indicator will increase to 80.3 and 7146.7 respectively.
Given the average per capita gross regional product in Namangan region in 2015 and 2016, the volume of gross regional product increased from 2924.4
thousand soums to 3374.2 thousand soums per person.
As it can be seen from the data, the share of small business and entrepreneurship in the region is considerably higher in the region's economy.
In the economy of the region great attention is being paid to comprehensive support of small businesses due to their high value and importance. In particular, by December 2017 commercial banks of the region allocated 778.7 billion soums of credits from all sources of financing to support small businesses and create new jobs, with a forecast of 107 percent.
When viewed from the structure of the loan given from all sources of funding, it is seen that:
- 175.6 billion soums to industry and production or 23% to the total volume;
- Trade and services - 201.1 billion soums or 26%;
- Agriculture - 178.6 billion soums or 23%;
- 58.0 billion sums or 7% of the construction;
-71.9 billion sums or 9% were given to other businessmen.
As it is clear from the above, it is clear that small business representatives in the region are relatively more vulnerable than representatives of trade and service sectors, and industry and manufacturing, as well as entrepreneurs in the field of agriculture.
That is to say, there is a need to strengthen the activities of representatives of business circles in the region, including construction and contracting and home-based, tourism and other spheres.
In recent years, our country has been widely used to support women in the country, and to attract them to entrepreneurship.
A number of action plans have been developed and implemented in our region. In particular, 98.0 billion soums were allocated to support women entrepreneurs. The bank allocated loans worth a total of over 2.8 billion soums.
In order to further develop the sphere of services in the region it is noted that in the first 11 months of 2017 commercial banks of the region have been allocated 183.8 billion soums of loans.
One of the most important issues of today is the provision of graduates of professional colleges with the necessary conditions for their social and laborintensive work.
For this purpose, it is being widely supported by the wide involvement of graduates of professional colleges in entrepreneurship, developing business plans for their chosen fields.
During the eleven months of last year, it was worth mentioning that graduates of professional colleges have created great opportunities for the commercial banks of the region as a result of allocation of credit resources of 18.5 billion sums.
As in our country, much attention is being paid to ensuring the employment of the population in the region. For 11 months of 2017, 21,162 citizens and entrepreneurs have been fined 150.6 billion soums, and 18.2 billion soums to low-income families needing social protection. Over 21,000 new jobs were created as a

result of crediting in the amount of UZS 1 billion.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers № 857 of 20 October 2017 "On Approval of the Regulation on the Procedure for the Distribution of Microcredits by Commercial Banks for the Employment of Low-Income Families", commercial banks have been issuing credits by up to 100 times the minimum wage in the region is coming.
It should be noted that the wide-ranging propaganda campaign among the population is being carried out by the local commercial banks in our region that microcredits may be allocated to low-income families, who are willing to engage in certain types of work among our population.
Analyzes indicate that in October-November 2017, commercial banks issued preferential loans worth 942.3 million soums to members of low-income families willing to engage in 228 specific types of work.
In sum, we are confident that in Namangan region, the work on supporting small business and private entrepreneurship will continue in the future.
