Introduction

Modern techniques of teaching English are based on traditional ways of learning other languages. However, the psychological component, foreign movies, and information technology have an impact on it. The techniques of teaching English utilized 20 years ago were mostly reproductive in character. The tutor assigned the following tasks: learn the words, read the text, listen to the audio recording, and write a letter. Perhaps for this reason, most learners who had studied English for many years could read and write it but struggled speaking.

Modern English education approaches have replaced reproduction with interaction. Today, learning involves a relationship between the student and the teacher. First and foremost, the curriculum is designed considering children's ages. According to Rasulova( 2021) There are a lot of interactive methods: role-playing games, projects, brainstorming, and seminars. Game, travelling, films, competitions, and other types of lessons are better suited to infants and pupils of primary schools. Writing a tale teaches students how to use active and passive words, extend learners' vocabulary, and enhance speaking skills of the learners. Exercises help them grasp

grammatical content. Reading a text not only improves their reading abilities, but it also immerses them in the culture and customs of the language under study. Listening enhances comprehension of spoken language.

Effective methods of grasping English

However, the most efficient techniques of learning English includes participating in the process. This strategy teaches you how to "think" in English. Learning a foreign language is done totally in English. The teacher simply needs conduct the course in English and use visual aids. Because of the teacher's extensive expertise, such a session may be held for even the youngest students. If parents of preschoolers and primary students were first concerned about this strategy, they now appreciate its usefulness after seeing the children's eager eyes and growth.

Combination of instructional approaches

Many teachers use a combination of strategies, including immersion in a language context and traditional lessons. Knowledge of English language teaching techniques, psychology, and pedagogy enables them to detect the characteristics of perception and thinking and choose the appropriate methods and forms of work. In addition to English courses, various types of class organization are common, including round tables, concerts, language clubs, conferences, Olympiads, and many more. This enables you to engage a huge number of students in the language environment. Skills grow as motivation increases. Previously, the subject of how to teach spoken English remained open, but now anyone of any age may learn to speak a foreign language. The immersion technique will help students not only learn the language, but also arrange your free time effectively. Its distinguishing feature is that the teacher not only teaches the lesson but also supervises the consolidation of the topics covered. Gulam-hussein A(2021) depicts Computer Aided Learning Program (CAL) creates an environment, where learning and assessment is fun and the opportunities to learn is equitable among the rural and urban children. Classic homework was replaced with recommendations: view an English-language movie, converse with a native speaker, listen to a song, and complete assignments. According to Qinyi L (2022) teachers should change the traditional role of knowledge disseminator and classroom controller, give full play to their role as organizers, managers, negotiators, information providers and students' learning promoters, and encourage and organize students to use their language knowledge and skills to participate in various forms of classroom communication activities, so as to promote the development of students' language ability. Watching English-language films not only enables students to understand foreign speech, but it may also be entertaining. It enhances pronunciation and allows you to better express yourself in English. Communicating with a native speaker helps

you to interpret a spoken language. After this exercise, no foreigner will scare you! Listening to music in English is no longer a novel but always engaging kind of entertainment. Recently, computer games in English have gained popularity. They are used to teach both youngsters and adults. We're not only talking about instructional games here; there are also story games, arcades, simulations, role-playing games.

How to learn English better?

Richards, Jack C ; Theodore S. Rodgers(2001) note As the study of teaching methods and procedures in language teaching assumed a more central role within applied linguistics in the latter part of the twentieth century, various attempts have been made to conceptualize the nature of methods and to explore more sys-tematically the relationship between theory and practice within a method. Many individuals are also concerned with the following question: "What is the best way to learn a foreign language: in pairs, in groups, or individually?" Much of this depends on the student's unique qualities, aspirations, and ambitions. Group sessions are a superior option for improving your speaking abilities. They can be arranged using either the communicative or immersion methods. Individual work with an instructor is an effective strategy to prepare for the exam. It is often constructed using traditional techniques or in conjunction with the immersion process.

Choosing a technique for learning English may appear complex, but to make the appropriate choice, simply depend on the principles listed above:

1. The purpose of the lesson.

2. Level of training.

3. Psychological comfort.

4. Motivation.

Montessori method of education

The primary purpose is to assist the kid to learn the language independently. Typically, a separate room is arranged for this purpose, including images, books, cubes, musical toys, and other items that may pique the child's attention.

The teacher's job is secondary. He cannot provide the child with specific material, instead, he may simply monitor the process and assist in an emergency. Montessori's purpose is to help children develop their intellectual talents. Disadvantages include:

- Lack of consistency

- The inability to examine results might lead to a child's habit of learning without rules, perhaps impacting future performance.

The Montessori technique can be used for extracurricular or home activities; however, it is not appropriate for tutoring because it is hard to foresee the outcome of such instruction while still stimulating the child's interest.

Doman's Technique

The goal is to quickly recall English words using flashcards with illustrations. The youngster is shown photographs of animals and food, and he pronounces their names. The fundamental objective is to associate an object with its English name.

This strategy has both advantages and disadvantages. In our opinion, utilizing only one way is dull for the youngster and ineffective for the instructor. In addition, one sort of memory works: visual. Such training is likely to be either supplemental or introductory. Thus, Doman cards are one choice for educating youngsters, and in the future, they should be combined with other forms of language familiarization.

Teaching through games

The teacher can take any chance to teach English via playing, such as sketching, playing with dolls and soldiers, sculpting with plasticine or playing active activities outside.

This method is superior to textbook-based language acquisition, but it is important to consider how youngsters perceive it. If you have the self-discipline to not just play but also learn the subject, this strategy can be applied successfully.

Conclusion

Language learning and teaching is both an enjoyable process and with the help of interactive methods and techniques it can be doubly useful and a pleasant experience. The methods mentioned in the article may be applied both for the youngsters and the adults and can be altered depending on the class type, number of the students and the classroom atmosphere. A teacher is welcomed to use any of the mentioned methods and combine them too.
