INTRODUCTION

The desires of human to study a foreign language have been increasing day by day in this contemporary world. Nevertheless, some language learners are not almost satisfied with their teacher's approaches to the use of materials in lessons. By studying a foreign language, pupils learn to read, listen to speech, write, and most importantly, speak this language. Speaking is very important, because speaking, along with writing, shapes our thinking and contributes to the assimilation of the language.

People know how young children learn to speak before they say their first word, they listen to how their parents talk, gradually getting used to speech. It is more difficult for adults to master a foreign language, but it is quite possible. Every pupil should follow these ways to increase his speaking skills. A good way to develop speaking skills is through listening. In order to master listening skills and speak this language fluently, they should listen to a lot of audio and video tutorials in foreign languages, such as dialogues, thematic texts and audio stories, and listen to them again from time to time. It is desirable to have English or Russian subtitles for audio and video materials. The most effective listening is obtained when he or she read the subtitles, and then repeat after the one who speaks, trying to imitate his pace,

intonations. In this way, they can study any topic and at the same time practice pronunciation.

The speech is evaluated on the basis of several components: vocabulary, grammar used, intonation, fluency, etc. To understand how well pupil's speaking skill is developed, we should ask him or her a few questions:

Is he or she afraid to speak English or Russian?

A pupil should think about whether speaking in English or Russian causes his anxiety and panic. If speaking causes stress, then it is probably due to a lack of confidence in himself and his abilities. Often this is caused by a limited vocabulary or insufficient knowledge of the rules of the language. Working on gaps will give confidence in communication.

Is he able to express his thoughts quickly?

Everything is simple here. The better the speaking skill is pumped, the faster it is possible to find the right words and phrases. When somebody formulates thoughts first in our native language, and then translates them into English, this causes awkward pauses in communication; it becomes more difficult to follow the course of the conversation.

Does he make mistakes in pronunciation and grammar?

If he does not know where to put the stress in a word, he will confuse similar-sounding words, or make grammatical errors, this can cause misunderstanding on the part of the interlocutor or even an awkward situation. The less he makes mistakes, the cleaner and clearer the speech for the interlocutors.

The formation and development of any skill occurs in the process of activity, that is, it directly depends on the conditions in which it is carried out. However, practical learning experience indicates the fact that the secondary education in the process of language training sometimes does not adequately take into account the peculiarities of the professional sphere in which the graduate will carry out his activities, in connection with which, students are not fully aware of the importance of successful knowledge of a foreign language for their subsequent development as a competitive specialist.

What are the advantages of learning speaking skills in school?

1. Improve and widen employment opportunities;

2. Explore the world with confidence;

3. Access world-class education systems and establishments;

4. Increase pupils cognitive ability;

5. Improve communication skill;

It is also thought that in the process of learning in group work, the psychological barrier goes away. The pupil becomes bolder and more confident in his judgments. Student success is at the heart of overcoming the language barrier, and it can be overcome through group work. Creating a collaborative environment in the classroom, in our opinion, contributes to a more successful achievement of goals. Collaborative learning is learning in cooperation. This environment must be present when organizing work in groups.

There is a distribution of responsibility between the members of the group, which should contribute to more efficient work of the entire group. From personal experience, we can say that these tasks arouse great interest and joy among students, as well as noticeable and positive results of speaking. When protecting posters and clusters, pupils make up their own speech, and there is no need to correct them immediately if they make any mistakes. The use of such types of work in the classroom helps to instil in children the ability to analyse, independently obtain information, be able to evaluate themselves, their classmate and group mate, in general, the work of the whole group, be able to admit their mistakes and think about how they can be corrected, as well as the ability to cooperate and provide it all verbally.

For several reasons which will be mentioned below, it is believed that to develop speaking skills general secondary school pupils should do followings:

-Work on pronunciation. Correct pronunciation will first gain self-confidence. Second, you will be better understood. You will be able to communicate effectively and avoid the need to repeat your words several times. Points are not deducted for phonetic errors in the exam. Read here for specific steps to help soften your accent. Don't forget to use English nursery rhymes, which are a fun and effective way to improve your speaking. For example: Merry Mary, marry me or tie a string to three tree branches.

-Talk more often. Take every opportunity to practice speaking English. If you're not in a language environment, try creating your own. For example, regularly call your foreign friends.

-Listen to the nice speakers. Do not model the speech of any native English speaker. People can make grammatical errors in speech. For example, I was surprised to hear native Londoners say that you are. Therefore, guide the speeches of well-educated people: listen to lectures of famous scientists, writers and famous people for

instance British actors Tom Hiddleston and Zavi Ashton Tolstoy and Dickens.

-Expand vocabulary. Learn not only words but also sentences. Try to include them in your speech right away so they don't passively lag behind memory. A rich vocabulary will get you out of awkward situations where you can't find words. Memorize in different ways: choose your favorite expressions from movies.

The ability to speak well does not come by itself - like writing, this skill needs to be developed and trained. With regular practice and attention, you can improve your speaking skills. The main thing is not to see it as a heavy task, but to perceive language learning as an exciting game. Then you will enjoy both the process and the result.

CONCLUSION

Taking everything into consideration, the use of this module will help many teachers in solving the problem of developing pupils' colloquial speech. It is necessary to know that children in the process of independent work will better learn what they have discovered themselves. Effective speaking skills demonstrate creativity, critical thinking skills, leadership abilities, poise and professionalism. These qualities are not only valuable to the job market, but are also a good way to build credibility by speaking at events or conferences. Communication is the foundation of our society. It allows us to make connections, influence decisions and motivate change. Without conversational skills, progress in business and life would be virtually impossible. It is often seen that those who speak confidently are more able to influence decisions and influence the audience. High school students can gain and increase their confidence by practicing public speaking before any major event.
