This article provides detailed information on the use of heat-resistant concrete in the construction of clinker materials. The thermal resistance of active smelters based on metallurgical slag is higher than that of Portland cement. This is due to the relatively low content of calcium hydroxide in clinker cement. By using clinker Portland cement, heat-resistant concrete with a temperature of up to 12000C can be obtained.

IMPORTANCE OF HEAT-RESISTANT CONCRETE IN CONSTRUCTION

ABSTRACT

This article provides detailed information on the use of heat-resistant concrete in the construction of clinker materials. The thermal resistance of active smelters based on metallurgical slag is higher than that of Portland cement. This is due to the relatively low content of calcium hydroxide in clinker cement. By using clinker Portland cement, heat-resistant concrete with a temperature of up to 12000C can be obtained.

INTRODUCTION

At present, various concretes based on fillers derived from metallurgical slag are used in construction. The cost of products made of clinker concrete - is 20 ... 30% cheaper than conventional concrete. Slag materials are widely used in the production of heat-resistant concretes as binders, fillers, fine-grained additives and hardeners. The thermal resistance of active smelters based on metallurgical slag is higher than that of Portland cement. This is due to the relatively low content of calcium hydroxide in clinker cement. By using clinker Portland cement, heat-resistant concrete with a temperature of up to 12000C can be obtained. As such compounds, fine-grained blast furnace slag is used to obtain concrete resistant to temperatures up to 7000S in combination with chamotte, ash dust and other siliceous materials. The viscosity of the slag should be such that the sample (slag) passing through the sieve №008 is not less than 70% and the modulus of basicity is M0 <1. Granular and waste metallurgical slags as well as slag pumice can be used as fillers for heat-resistant concretes.

MAIN PART

The heat resistance (operating temperature) of such concretes based on Portland cement and clinker Portland cement is 700 ... 8000S. At higher temperatures, the strength of the concrete decreases sharply due to the softening of the glass phase of the slag aggregates. The quality of heat-resistant concrete based on slag aggregates is characterized by the following parameters: compressive strength, 42 heat resistance, deformation at high temperatures under the influence of force, expansion under the influence of heat. The

application temperature is 700 0S. A technology has been developed to obtain heat-resistant concrete that is resistant to temperatures up to 10000C by high crystallization of ferromolybdenum slag as a fine-grained compound. Lightweight heat-resistant

concretes with a density of 1440 ... 1600 kg / m and a maximum operating temperature of 800 ... 10000S can be obtained on the basis of clay cement and clinker pumice. Non-ferrous metallurgical slag can also be used as a filler and fine-grained compound for heat-resistant concretes.

In particular, nickel and copper waste slags, Portland cement and slag portland cement, as well as concrete with a temperature of 800 ... 10000C are obtained on the basis of compounds obtained by saturation of granular slag.

CONCLUSION

Such concretes do not differ from concrete-based concretes in their properties and can be used effectively in the construction of thermal aggregates. The first 28 days are the most critical for the cement hardening. The cement does not dry but one says that the cement sets and hardens. The cеmеnt is a hydraulic bindеr whosе hydration requires watеr. It pеrfectly sеt undеr watеr. Water is essential to its hardening and water losses must bе avoided at Ше concrete young agе to avoid the dеvеlopmеnt of cracks. The stеp protеcting young concrete against dеssiccation by watеr еvaporation is the curing.
