Abstract: this article deals with actual family problems. Particular attention is given to Russian family model of foster child growing-up. A new term "foster family" is proposed to denote such family. The author describes the changes occurred to the family members upon completion of group training "Parents meeting".

Keywords: family, ward child, ward family, guardianship, custody, guardianship, integration into the family.

We used to consider the family as a center of peace and love, where people are surrounded by the closest and dearest people. However, a closer look reveals that this is not the case. The family increasingly resembles a theater of war, an arena of fierce disputes, recriminations and threats, and often comes to the use of physical force. For a long time it was thought: all this is case sensitive, domestic... But too painful and extensive are the consequences of family violence, which have a negative impact primarily on the child. The protection of the rights of the child in modern Russia is one of the urgent problems caused by the obvious problem in the situation of minor children both in society and in the family. And it is difficult to say what is the reason for this trouble and who is to blame in the first place - the state or the family. At present, the problem of child-parent relations is intensively developed in domestic and foreign psychology. The problems of raising a child in a family are covered in detail1.

According to official statistics, there are currently about 800,000 orphans and children left without parental care in the Russian Federation.

However, it should be clarified that of the specified number of 545 thousand children (68%) is on education in families of citizens (375 thousand - under guardianship (guardianship), 11 thousand - in foster families, 159 thousand adopted by unauthorized citizens).

The remaining 32% (more than 260 thousand) of children are brought up in state institutions for orphans and children left without parental care, in various departments, as well as in non-state institutions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation2 dated may 10, 2006 noted that it is necessary to develop a programme together with the regions to encourage placement of orphans and children left without parental care in families.

Guardianship (guardianship) is a form of placement of orphans and children left without parental care for their maintenance, upbringing and education, as well as for the protection of their rights and interests. Guardianship is established over children under the age of 14 years; guardianship is established at the age of 14 to 18 years.

Thus, the problem of integration of children into families becomes the most urgent.

Family diagnosis in foster families

On the basis of the Herzen state pedagogical University. A. I. Herzen conducted a study of foster families on the topic: "Family diagnosis in foster families."

The aim of the study was to explore the specificity of family diagnosis in the ward families.

Hypothesis: the Family diagnosis of foster families has its own specifics, which is different from the family diagnosis of families where an adopted child is brought up. Clarifying the structure of the family diagnosis optimizes the process of psychological correction and allows the family members to take responsibility for choosing the best strategy for the family. Tasks:

1. To study the features of families where the child is brought up.

2. Develop a group correction program aimed at developing communication skills in foster families between the guardian and the child.

3. Describe the conditions necessary for the rethinking of attitudes and acceptance by parents/guardians of the individuality of their child.

4. To assess the prognostic possibilities of expanding the sphere of interaction between the foster family and the surrounding world.

5. To explore the possibility of establishing a system of mutual support for guardian families.

6. To study the dynamics of clinical, psycho-logical indicators.
