This article explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in journalism education to enhance listening skills among students and also explores various AI-powered approaches to listening activities in English class and their impact on students' language proficiency. Drawing upon existing literature and empirical studies, it examines the efficacy of AI applications such as speech recognition and transcription tools in improving listening comprehension. The article proposes pedagogical strategies for incorporating AI into journalism curricula and discusses ethical considerations associated with AI integration. Abstract. This article explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in journalism education to enhance listening skills among students and also explores various AI-powered approaches to listening activities in English class and their impact on students' language proficiency. Drawing upon existing literature and empirical studies, it examines the efficacy of AI applications such as speech recognition and transcription tools in improving listening comprehension. The article proposes pedagogical strategies for incorporating AI into journalism curricula and discusses ethical considerations associated with AI integration.
