This paper explores the integration of multimodal pedagogy in language teaching to enhance learners comprehension and expression skills. Drawing on principles from cognitive science, sociocultural theory, and multimodal communication, the study investigates how combining verbal, visual, and gestural modes can optimize language learning outcomes. Through a review of relevant literature and empirical evidence, the paper examines the theoretical underpinnings of multimodal language teaching and its practical implications for instructional design and classroom practice. Case studies and examples illustrate effective strategies for integrating multiple modes of communication in language lessons, including the use of visuals, gestures, multimedia resources, and interactive activities. Furthermore, the paper discusses the benefits of multimodal approaches for diverse leaner populations and explores avenues for future research in this burgeoning field.
