For the modern educational system, training is primarily a cognitive activity that is focused not only on obtaining knowledge and skills. The change is also in the student's personality: first of all, the intelligence increases and the main focus is on self-development. Higher education institutions are built in such a way that the student first learns, and then there is a stage focused on managing other people and production structures. Professional competence, scientific qualifications, and training lead to the formation of a new type of specialist who enthusiastically finds a creative approach to solving a problem.

The main focus is the quality and level of training of students in higher education institutions, which determines the effectiveness of the entire education system. It is necessary to develop new approaches to training teachers who can creatively and independently solve educational problems. These approaches have the following goals:

1. Formation of students;

2. The Emergence of a professional culture of future teachers;

3. Orientation on personal and professional development, on independent self-development taking into account individual characteristics.

The use of information technologies in the educational process will help to improve the quality of training of future specialists. Information technologies should be understood as a set of tools and

methods for collecting, processing and transmitting data to obtain new quality information about the state of an object, process or phenomenon.

Information technologies in education have advantages, including:

- creating the most effective information management system for education;

- formation of cognitive activity of students in the learning process;

- individualization of the educational process and the possibility of the process of learning using information technology.

With the development and introduction of new information technologies in education, the pedagogical capabilities of computer technology are expanding. Virtual information and educational laboratory is a software and information system consisting of computer programs that implement scenarios of educational activities, and specially prepared knowledge, namely structured information and systems of exercises for its comprehension, mastering and consolidation. So, when designing informational and educational laboratories for subject areas should consider the following key issues: preparation of an information presenting theoretical material (lecture material, dictionaries of terms and definitions, graphical illustration, demonstration and illustrating program and technology guides, presentation program, etc.), creating blocks of practical tasks for each topic to enhance learning theory, the creation of regulatory and testing programs to determine the degree of assimilation of educational material, development of training scenarios for the organization of effective purposeful cognitive activity of trainees. The main pedagogical concepts in the formation of a virtual information and educational laboratory are the following:

- information and educational laboratory is used as an effective learning tool, without replacing the teacher in the educational process, providing the student with freedom to choose the pace and trajectory of knowledge acquisition with elements of self-learning and self-control;

- virtual information and educational laboratory combines the advantages of a good textbook with the capabilities of a computer (advantages of dynamic images, rapid "feedback", storage of large amounts of information, visibility, a combination of text, graphics, audio and video information, access to network resources, etc.);

- individualization of the learning process - a differentiated approach to the choice of material depending on its level of complexity, saving the current results of work in order to continue in the next training session, an individual approach to evaluating the results of work and answers to control questions, as well as analyzing the answers and issuing recommendations to the student;

- development of students ' research skills in the framework of performing creative tasks.

Virtual information and educational laboratory, in fact, is a new-generation educational and methodological complex. Therefore, the professional activity of teachers in an expanded and enriched information and educational space is undergoing significant changes. In the new operating conditions, the activity of teachers is clearly divided into the activities of developers of software shells for the functioning of the information and educational laboratory and the activities of teachers-users who are able to effectively interact with students in the environment of this laboratory.
