Uzbekistan is the owner of a huge cultural heritage. The history of its statehood spans nearly three thousand years. In the past, ancient Khorezm, Kushan kingdom, Kang' state, Turkish khanate, Karakhanids and Khorezmshahs, Amir Temur kingdoms, Bukhara, Khiva and Kokand khanates settled on this land and beyond.
The history of the statehood of the glorious land has experienced prosperous times, depressed times, and periods under the rule of foreign countries. In any case, his original breed base, firmly established in the people's memory, remains stable. The country's past consists of ethnic, territorial, historical (chronological), class (typological) organic structures. At a certain stage of historical development, each region, each historical territory, which served as a cultural center, contributed to the development of the country.
Pop music art entered Uzbek music art in the second half of the 20th century. In the development of pop performance in Uzbekistan, he caused great changes in the development of pop music and modernity, not only in the musical direction, but also in terms of vocal performance. taking place and talking about a number of pop bands that have won the hearts of music lovers not only in Uzbekistan, but also on the world stage, first of all there is Botir Zakirov and the Zakirov dynasty, Yunus Toraev, Eson Kandov, Stakhan Rakhimov, Yalla group and By studying the ways of creation of such bright artists as Farrukh Zokirov, Mansur Toshmatov, we can get useful information about the stage of development of historical changes in our pop music.
People's artist of Uzbekistan Farrukh Zakirov and "Yalla" vocal-instrumental ensemble, people's artists of Uzbekistan Mansur Toshmatov, Ghulomjon Yaqubov and Nasiba Abdullaeva, who left the borders of national art and became famous in foreign countries in a short period of time, are being continued by the new generation of pop artists. People's Artist of Uzbekistan Yulduz Usmonova, Honored Artists of Uzbekistan Kozim Qayumov, Kumush Razzokova, Nuriddin Haydarov, Ravshan Nomozov, Azim Mullakhanov, Muhriddin Khalikov, Ghiyos Boytoev, Mavluda Asalkhojaeva, Salahiddin Azizboev, Mahira Asadova, Gulbahor Sulaimanova and dozens of other pop artists are working on themselves, quickly became the favorite artists of the listeners.
In our republic, a number of important measures are being taken to promote pop music. For example, on the initiative of the head of the "Zamin STV" studio, S. Abdullaev, the remarkable show-festival "Zamin Stars" has been held since 1998. This festival, which aims to support the masters of art and sports of our republic, is gaining the same prestige as the "Oscar", "Nika", "Golden Globe", "Golden Oven", "Golden Bear" festivals held worldwide. Since 2000, the festival has achieved the status of "International Festival". Famous art and sports stars from foreign
countries were also invited to "Zamin Stars" this year, and they were among the winners of the "Zamin Stars" award. Among them are the star of Turkish cinema, Aydan Shaner, the main character of the movie "Choliqushi", and Gunel, a young pop star from Azerbaijan. Also, a number of pop art representatives, in particular famous singers such as Farrukh Zoyirov, Nasiba Abdullaeva, Rustam Goyipov, Muhriddin Holikov, Nuriddin Haydarov, Kumush Razzokova, Yulduz Abdullaeva, and the "Setora" group also received the "Zamin Stars" award. In the future, it is planned to further expand the scope of the "Zamin Yuduzli" festival. It should be noted that currently Uzbek pop music is experiencing a complex process in terms of its style.
In particular, we can see the influence of melodies and rhythms from Middle Eastern folk music to Latin and North American and Western European popular music. Free use of popular music styles (from disco and hard rock to rap and heavy metal) that were banned or not "supported" by the state in the previous period, and experiments in bringing samples of national traditional music to the pop scene. 1991 began to occupy a wide place from the year. At the same time, new currents of musical variety are developing in Uzbekistan, including such directions and styles as "techno-pop", "punk", "hard-rock", "reggae" and "jazz-rock", "bard" singing among young people. "Kars" ("Chiprodalli-dalli", "Yor-yor, yoroney"), which matured under the leadership of Sarvar Qaziev and rose to the level of prize-winners of various pop contests, as well as "Tashkent" ("Quilt") and "Manzur" ("You can't, "Meni Yor Dema") groups, Muhammadjon Ro'zimuhammedov and "Shofayz", Daniyor Mamedov and "Bayram", Abdulla Shomag'rupov and "Nola" ("Feeling", "Sensan Sevarim"), Rashid Khalikov and "Shahzod" ("Oynaysan", "Kelinchak"), Sevara Nazarkhan and "Sideriz" ("Don't forget"), Abdulaziz Karim and "Asr" ("I will be a victim"), Tahir Sadikov and "Bolalar", "Khoja", "Taj", "Sahar" the present era is the selected segment of youth pop music. Talented singers who rose to the level of Uzbek pop stars in 1991-2001 - Yulduz Usmanova, Gulomjon Yakubov, Kumush Razzokova, Kozim Qamov, Azim Mullakhanov, Ravshan Nomozov, and Alisher Ikramov, Dilorom Omonullaeva, Alisher Rasulov, Vladimir Baramikov of the "Kars" and "Tashkent" groups. , Sarg Qaziev, created in close cooperation with composers and arrangers, and made a great contribution to the development of pop music.
Of course, in this process, along with some results, the superficial imitation of pop music of foreign countries, the principles of "creation" in "European" and "Oriental" styles are widespread. Also, as another special principle, it is possible to note the experiences of performing Uzbek words and poems to the tunes of world-famous mass pop songs (Turkish, Iranian, Arab, French, English and a number of other pop stars). But such experiences are not always artistically and creatively satisfying. It should not be forgotten that the neighbors created in such a process and receiving "spiritual food" on this basis, our young people can ultimately feel the freshness of our native language and national melodies, as well as their value. Of course, in the process of development of national estra in our republic, all achievements and some defects are directly related to the knowledge and level of talent and work of creators. According to the nature of pop art, high artistic results are created as a result of creative cooperation of singers and musicians as well as composers and arrangers. It is known that due to the creative work of Botir Zakirov and Ikram Akbarov, Enmark Solikhov, and later the "Yalla" group and Yevgeny Shiryaev, Muhabbat Shamaeva, Rano Sharipova, Yunus Turaev and Evgeniy Zhivaev, and then Farrukh Zokirov, Doni Ilyasov, the solid foundation of modern Uzbek pop singing was laid. and he acquired the qualities of professional and artistic excellence.
In our independent country, there are all opportunities and conditions for the development of national pop music. Therefore, we are waiting for the creators of this field - singers and musicians, composers and composers to create new artistically perfect songs and tunes that will please our people. Today, Uzbek pop art is rich in selfless and talented young artists. Therefore, in order to support and develop their talent, our government paid more attention to pop-vocal performance. It is no exaggeration to say that the newly opened institute was named after the artist Botir Zakirov, who was a favorite of the Uzbek people and one of the main reasons for the recognition of Uzbek pop art in the whole world, and that this institute was directed specifically for pop performance. This, in turn, requires great responsibility from young people. As the first master's student of this institute, I can say that while preserving the original masterpieces inherited from our art schools, we are inspired by these works and create beautiful and unique masterpieces from each other, making it the responsibility and goal of every artist to present Uzbek pop singing to the world. I think that if we learn our knowledge and opportunities from the professional mature masters and teachers of their field and apply it in creative and scientific activities, then Uzbek pop singing will reach the highest heights in the world pop art. I think that through this article, you got some information and opinions about the development of pop art in Uzbekistan.
