Abstract: the article talks about the need to introduce modern methods, how to use Internet technologies in internal and extracurricular activities for the development of communicative and sociocultural competencies of students.

Keywords: English language training, Internet in the classroom, information and communication technologies.

Taking into account modern conditions and requirements, we set ourselves the task of developing students' competencies, developing the ability and readiness of an individual for activities based on knowledge and experience, which are acquired through training, are focused on the independent participation of an individual in the educational and cognitive process and are aimed at its successful integration in society. In teaching English, like any other foreign language, the use of computer technology allows students to be brought to a fundamentally new level of mastering non-native language and better prepared for both the Unified State Exam and entrance exams for universities, and, if desired, for foreign exams for knowledge of language for foreigners. In practice, information technology training refers to all technologies that use special technical information tools (computers, audio, video-cinema). When computers began to be widely used in education, the term new information technology appeared. Computer (new information) technology training is the process of preparing and transmitting information to the student, the means of implementation of which is a computer. [1, 125]

The conceptual positions of the technology are as follows: learning is communication of a child with a computer; the principle of adaptability: the adaptation of the computer to the individual characteristics of the child (the pace of work is selected, the feasible tasks to perform) conversational nature of learning; manageability: at any time correction by the teacher is possible; the child's interaction with the computer can be carried out in all types: subject-object; subject-subject; subject object; the optimal combination of individual and group work; maintaining the student's state of psychological comfort when communicating with a computer.

With the help of information and communication technologies in the classroom, you can solve a whole range of didactic tasks: to develop reading skills and abilities using the materials of the global network; improve writing skills of schoolchildren; Expand words knowledge; form students' sustainable motivation to learn English. Those who are running can take part in testing, in quizzes, contests, competitions, held on the Internet, chat with peers from other countries, participate in chat rooms, video conferences, etc. Students can get information on the problem they are working on at the moment within the project. This may be the joint work of Russian schoolchildren and their foreign peers from one or several countries. The communicative approach involves learning to communicate and the formation of the ability to intercultural interaction, which is the basis of the functioning of the Internet. Outside of communication, the Internet does not make sense - it is an international multinational, cross-cultural society, whose livelihoods are built on the electronic communication of millions of people around the world who speak simultaneously. By participating in a foreign language class, we create a model of real communication. By communicating in a true language environment provided by the Internet, students find themselves in real life situations. Involved in solving a wide range of meaningful, realistic,

interesting and achievable tasks, schoolchildren learn to respond spontaneously and adequately to them, which stimulates the creation of original statements, and not routine manipulation of linguistic formulas. The Internet, as an information system, offers its users a variety of information and resources. The basic set of services may include: e-mail, newsgroups, video conferencing, the ability to publish your own information, creating your own home page and placing it on a Web server, access to information resources - reference directories, search engines, conversation in the network. These resources can be actively used in the classroom.

By teaching authentic language, the Internet helps in the formation of skills and skills of speaking, as well as in teaching vocabulary and grammar, ensuring genuine interest and, as a result, efficiency. Interactivity not only creates real life situations, but also makes students respond adequately to them through a foreign language. When working with computer technologies, the role of the teacher is also changing, the main task of which is to support and guide the development of the students' personality and their creative search. Relationships with students are moving to a new level - cooperation and joint work. Under these conditions, revision of the existing organizational forms of educational work is inevitable: an increase in independent individual and group work of students, a departure from the traditional lesson with a predominance of explanatory and illustrative teaching method, an increase in the volume of practical and creative research and research work. Thus, the use of computer technology in English classes significantly increases the intensity of the educational process. When learning through ICT, a much larger amount of material is assimilated than it was done at the same time in the context of traditional learning. In addition, the material when using the computer is digested stronger. The computer provides and comprehensive (current, boundary, final) control of the educational process. When learning English, both typical application software can be used: text editors, graphic editors, database management systems, and special programs, intended for mastering the English language: multimedia tutorials, tests, e-books. The use of modern technology gives a person the ability to navigate in modern society, forms the ability of the individual to quickly respond to the demands of the time.
