DESCRIPTION OF NATURE IN MAGTYMGULY'S POETRY
Аннотация: Magtymguly Pyragy illuminated with his poems in the hearts of people. He created poets about Turkmen nature's beauty. Turkmen hills, mountains, lowlands, plant's and animal's world gave him great soul to create. That's why we can't imagine his works without nature. He had written the poem "Wind of Gurgen " about his birth place. The beauty of Turkmen nature has found its particular arrangement in the poetry of Pyragy.

Every nation has its own great and national poet. So Turkmen literature's remarkable, great and national poet is Magtymguly Pyragy.
Magtymguly is a great thinker, and thinker of Turkmen people, the brightest star of the entire oriental culture. The works of the great thinker and poet of Turkmen are connected with spiritual values of the whole humanity and contain various aspects of life. The goal of his works has always remained a call for the unity of people under the single idea, education of love for the fatherland, respect for traditions. A special place in his works takes nature of his native land.
A great number of poems had been composed by Magtymguly Pyragy for his people. A special place in his works takes nature of his native land. Nature and its wonderful world, relation of the human with it was one the main objects of artistic thinking. In poet's works, the beauty of real and live nature is seen.
Magtymguly Pyragy was the devotee of beauty of nature. Great poet got power from mountains, got inspiration from their beauty. The poet attaches a deep meaning to the mighty rages of mountains of the Turkmen land. He would go to the mountains,
steppes of his country and write various poems. The beauty of the nature of the Motherland is described in those poems.
Magtymguly Pyragy loved the beauty of Turkmen nature, got pleasure from it. Summary valley, where the poet lived is considered to be a place with the most fascinating scenery of Turkmenistan. The poem "Turkmenin" is a proof for it: Renbe-ren gul a?ar ya§yl yaylasy, Gark bolmu§ reyhana ?oli turkmenin [2, 230]
According to legend, in spring times Magtymguly went out to the valley, sat along the coast and wrote poems there. Lots of poems were created by him sitting in warm mountain caves in winter time.
In his poems, mountains have a concrete character, a real and symbolic character. In his poems, mountains are the soul mate who share sorrow and joy of man, and at the same time express their strength, endurance, wisdom, beauty and reliability. In his poems "Sonudagy", "Hasar dagy", "The Gurgen" mountains' beauty is described with high words. Turkmen nature is explained Turkmenistan's wealth nature, and its flora, fauna. By these poems Magtymguly described some mountain river valleys, about animal life and plants, sandy deserts of Turkmen nature. The poems "Hasar dagy" and "Sonudag" are the poet's descriptions of nature's beauty. In the poem "Hasar dagy" he says:
Hasar dagy beyik bolar, Usti doly keyik bolar, Mergenlere seyik bolar, Barsan Hasar dagyndadyr.. [1, pg. 97]
In the same poem, "Sonu Dag" Magtymguly Pyragy wrote about the endless beauty of Mount Sonudag. The poet praises the nature of the dear Motherland and its beauty in the lines of the poem. The meaning of the poem is not only related to nature, but also describes the people living in it, the caravan routes, settlement and the people of the beautiful places.
In the works of Magtymguly, one can often find images of birds as a symbol of freedom and wisdom. In one of the poems, the poet writes: Bag i?re sayra§an §eyda bilbiller,
Torgayça yok, gonar guli bolmasa.
Plants are wealth of nature. From the ancient times people were in a close conduction with the nature. Our forefathers paid a great respect to the nation. It's obvious that people can't live without nature and plants. Works of great representative of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Pyragy are multilateral and in his poetry, herbs, which were considered medicinal plants of ancient times, were used in different contours. In the following lines from his verse "Ussesi bolmaz", the philosopher poet describes the special places, where pomegranates, figs and almonds are growing: "Bagdatda nar biçse, Turçiçde injir, Hyrat dek hiç yerin pissesi bolmaz".
In the verses of the poet philosopher the word narynch denotes orange, name of the plant or tree, which is always growing green, bringing fruit and its fruit, the word reyhana common name for fragrant herbs or name of the flower, the word sebze means green grass, and the word sidre is the name of the tree.
Depicting Turkmen nature really, world of its beauty Magtymguly touches upon the subtlest strings of human soul. Lyrics of Magtymguly helped the nation to see clearly the wonderful look of its land, and enjoy its original beauty to the present.
Today Magtymguly is read not only by Turkmen nation, but Magtymguly is read by neighbour nations too. Because Magtymguly our wise poet made a big contribution to the world literature. Magtymguly is widely revered as holy among Turkmen communities, and his poems are often quoted as proverbs in Turkmen society.
In 2024, to mark the 300-year anniversary of Magtymguly's birth, the Turkmen government in collaboration with global partners, will host an international conference and city-wide events in Ashgabat. This will include the unveiling of a comprehensive digital database and new print collections of Magtymguly's work and biography.
