BASIC DIRECTIONS FOR EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH

AN ACTIVE CITIZEN POSITION

Annotation: In our country, during the years of independence, consistent work has been carried out to improve the quality of education, harmonious education of the younger generation.

Key words: education, youth, citizen position.

A vivid confirmation of the great attention paid in our country to the upbringing of a harmoniously developed generation is the results of the implementation of the National Program for Personnel Training and the State National Program for the Development of School Education. Each person living on this earth, throughout his life struggles, works, spares no effort to raise his children educated and virtuous, to see their happiness and prosperity.

The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Youth Policy" was adopted by the Legislative Chamber on August 12, 2016 and approved by the Senate on August 24, 2016. The purpose of this Law is to regulate relations in the field of state youth policy.

Building a democratic legal state and civil society in the Republic of Uzbekistan is impossible without using the creative, spiritual and moral potential of the individual, and the intensive development of her social activity. It makes the highest demands on the individual, requires selflessness, patriotism and heroism from her. At the same time, Uzbekistan seeks to build a humane society where every feat, selfless work, heroic deed will be adequately appreciated, high achievements, good deeds will not pass without a trace.

The topic of spiritual and moral education of youth is always relevant in society. After all, the future of the country depends on what values will guide future generations in their lives. Civil-patriotic education through instilling love

and respect for one's language, history, literature, army, territory, etc. It is called upon to help young people better understand the economic and cultural features of their country, to see the beauty and originality of its nature, and to think about becoming a worthy and useful citizen of it.

Questions of patriotic education of the young generation in the spirit of love for the Motherland and devotion to the Fatherland, law-abiding citizens of the state have always been the focus of attention of scientists throughout the history of human development. Great philosophers and educators have paid considerable attention to this issue since ancient times. Patriotic education, being an integral part of the general educational process, is a systematic and purposeful activity of state authorities and public organizations in creating high patriotic consciousness among citizens, a sense of fidelity to their Fatherland, readiness to fulfill a civic duty and constitutional duties to protect the interests of the motherland.

Patriotic education is the forms and methods of pedagogical influence aimed at the object of education, at the formation of certain social and moral qualities. The formation of these qualities depends on many factors: political, social, environmental, legal and pedagogical. Using the methods of pedagogical influence, relying on these factors, they study the state of the object and determine the mechanisms, incentives, and opportunities for moral improvement. Therefore, the forms and methods of patriotic education, its mechanisms, incentives and opportunities are always concrete, they really appear in the process of educational influence.

Patriotic consciousness is a subjective phenomenon, it is not always specifically manifested, sometimes it can lead to false beliefs and patriotism. Patriotic education is the formation of spiritual, moral, civic and worldview personality traits that are manifested in love for the mother land, for one's home, in the desire and ability to protect and enhance the traditions and values of one's people, one's national culture, one's land.

The basic principles of patriotic education is an important component of the spiritual and moral education of children and youth. We call our homeland either Fatherland or Motherland, these high words grow out of those feelings with which we utter such simple words as "dad" and "mother" in childhood. How a child learns to love his parents, protect their honor, and take care of them depends on how he will be able to love his Motherland in the future. Patriotic education is an important component of spiritual and moral education, which includes in addition to patriotic and civic: family, labor, ethical, aesthetic and social education. The pace and nature of the development of society directly depends on the civic position of a person, his life priorities, moral convictions, moral norms and spiritual values.

In conclusion, patriotic education of youth and children is carried out in the process of their own activities, characterized by a certain orientation, forms

and methods of implementation. For the realization of their patriotic feelings, not only their own desires and aspirations are important, but also the practice of mastering social action.
