The Turkmen people have an ancient national heritage and rich literature. The wealth of our literary literature, its broad meaning, is studied on a scientific basis. Because preaching our national literature is one of the main ways to spread it to the world. The Turkmen land has gifted individuals who have made a lasting contribution to Islamic and world culture and left an indelible mark on history. The science centers of Gurgench, Merv, Saragt, Dehistan, Abivert and Amul are scientific centers that have given birth to famous scientists. Hundreds of scientists from Merwezi, Khorezm, Sarahsi, Amuly and Abiwerdi were formed in these centers of science and enlightened Islamic science and culture. One of the scientists who was formed in the center of science of Gurgench and left an indelible mark on world history and science is Abu Reyhan Muhammed ibn Ahmet

Biruni, a scientist from Gurgench.

According to recent scientific speculations, Abu Rayhan Birun, who has such nicknames as "Daimul-ustad" ("Eternal master or master of all times"), "Fahrul-ulama" ("pride of doctors and sages"), died on 4th of 973. He was born in Käs, the first capital of Khorezm province, in September. Although it is known from his works that the scientist was born in Khorezm, there is no accurate information about whether he was born in the vicinity of Kasde or Kash, neither in his works nor in the works of medieval scientists. Although most scholars claim that the sage died in Ghazna on December 11, 1048, at the age of 75, some recent sources state that he died in 1051, or even 1061, at the age of 88.

When the poem is read in its entirety, it can be seen that he wrote this poem as a response to a poet who wrote a poem about him. In this poem, he seems to be trying to make fun of the vanity of boasting about one's tribe, ancestors, and parents. Maybe that's why he didn't say anything about his mother tongue or ethnic identity in his works. Even then, it can be assumed that he was from the Turkic peoples. This is evidenced by a story in his book "Kitabus-saydala". Then he says: "When I was young, I met an old Turkmen elder who brought a mummy to Khorezmshah and nursed his pain, and talked to him. The old man said that there are many medicinal plants where he lives and most of the residents are doctors. That is, if he was speaking Turkish-Turkmen when he was young, it can be assumed that his mother tongue is undoubtedly Turkmen. His passion for science and education was born at a very young age. While still in Khorezm, he learned Arabic and Persian languages in addition to his mother tongue. He learned Greek and Latin from a Greek and had the opportunity to familiarize himself with books written in the ancient Greek language. It is also mentioned in the sources that the scholar could read Sanskrit and Hebrew works. Biruny, who was interested not only in languages, but also in mathematics and philosophical sciences from his youth, wrote about 150 works in his lifetime and left an invaluable legacy to the world scientific community. His work was multifaceted and included physics, geology, mineralogy, geodesy, astronomy, medicine, botany, history, chronology and philosophy. The scientist was able to freely express his scientific attitude and opinion in his works and scientific interviews, and entered into scientific debates with various scientists. An example of this is the scientific debate between Biruni and Ibn Sina. Two copies of the controversial letters written by these two great scientists to each other about physics and astronomy are still preserved in the world-famous Suleimaniye Library in Istanbul, Turkey.
