Существует немного современных цифровых технологий, предоставляющих программы, удовлетворяющие стандартам качества образования. Очевидно, что и сам процесс разработки ресурса, и последующий этап его внедрения в процесс обучения требуют колоссальных усилий и определенной подготовки не только со стороны преподавателя, но и со стороны студентов. Данная статья посвящена обзору облачной платформы Zoom, популярность которой для проведения дистанционного обучения стремительно возросла в период глобальной изоляции на фоне пандемии COVID-19 и основана на личном опыте работы с данным сервисом в языковой школе.

Modern technologies that provide programs meeting high educational standards are actually few. It is obvious that both the process of resource development and its subsequent introduction into the learning process require enormous efforts and training from both teachers and students. This article provides an overview of the Zoom cloud platform, which is rapidly gaining its popularity for distance learning during the global isolation amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been inspired by personal experience of its use in the language school.

Modern technologies that provide programs meeting high educational standards are actually few. It is obvious that both the process of resource development and its subsequent introduction into the learning process require enormous efforts and training from both teachers and students. This article provides an overview of the Zoom cloud platform, which is rapidly gaining its popularity for distance learning during the global isolation amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been inspired by personal experience of its use in the language school.

The introduction of mobile technologies in the educational process during the period of isolation is very favorable for the choice of forms and methods of e-learning process organization. According to the researcher N. E. Otekina, "e-learning is the organization of educational activities applying information and technical means for its processing" [1]. Every day innovation, electronic technology and the Internet have an increasing impact on many areas of our lives, including the resources we receive information from, to what extent and for what purpose we use it. E-learning applies to companies operating in any industry; in the same way it is possible to use it by students

of any specialties and levels of training, absolutely by every individual user, regardless of the proficiency level [2].

Digital learning management systems, communication tools and e-learning platforms play a crucial role in the time of this pandemic. Software and applications can help providers to manage, plan, deliver and track the learning process. With the outbreak of COVID-19, which was declared a pandemic, people worldwide faced a major challenge. Global isolation has not only significantly affected our lives, but it is also challenging our ability to adapt and be resilient [3].

Thus, in recent months the educational environment has had to change significantly. However, as it turns out in practice, this process requires a lot of effort, as it is impossible to simply take and apply any system of distance learning in mass practice. The reason lies not so much in technical details - powerful servers or fast Internet; teachers noted that they are fully equipped to conduct online lessons. In the transition to remote format teachers and students, use not only scanned pages of ordinary textbooks, but also interactive tasks, digital environments for self-education.

Being engaged into extracurricular training, we would like to consider Zoom as an example of a system, which is a supportive technical tool for e-learning allowing to penetrate into the real English language communication environment. The program is easy to install and applicable for individual and group classes, where students can join the service from a computer, a tablet or a smartphone. Anyone with a link or ID can connect to the video conference. This article focuses on some practical advantages of the service.

Classroom management. The event can be scheduled in advance, as well as provide a permanent link to the classroom according to a certain timetable similarly to an off-line lesson. You can make the same link for video and audio communication with each participant; the organizer has ability to turn off and turn on the microphone, video or ask all participants to turn them on; enter the conference as a member with view-only privileges, share the screen (screen-sharing) already with the sound or pause the screen display. Moreover, you can avoid using the entire screen, but only individual applications, such as enabling a browser demo. In the settings, you can give all participants the ability to share screens, or enable restrictions to allow only the organizer to do so. An interactive board is built into the platform, which makes it easy and quickly switch from the screen demonstration to the board. Zoom classroom is provided with a chat for texting messages, which can be easily adjusted to automatic backup or be saved manually at each conference. Any lesson can be recorded to both a computer and the cloud. During the conference, you can assign a co-organizer with the same capabilities as the organizer: turn the microphone on and off from individual students, rename and transfer into rooms.

Session halls. Opportunity to pare and group students is undoubtedly one of the most helpful tools. It is like in an offline classroom, where students obtain separate assignments for peer work. In Zoom they are distributed into separate rooms - session halls (mini-conferences), where they will communicate only with each other, the rest of them will neither see nor hear. The teacher determines the number of rooms and allocate participants either automatically or manually, having the opportunity to join the rooms and monitor what is going on there as well as transfer participants from room to room. There is a function of background replacement, which helps create an unforgettable atmosphere at the lesson.

To sum up, in the process of ongoing technological development, when a variety of teaching styles and techniques appear, and also due to the present situation, the use of distant training tools will help organize really high-quality, individual, graded training, and also to attract younger generation to new forms of learning, providing them with mobility and self discipline. This article provides only few advantages of the platform, which have been investigated so far. No doubt there definitely must be some pitfalls and complexities that we are bound to face with, however, Zoom cloud platform can become ideal in the English language classroom. It is the tool to enhance and expand traditional classrooms with video communications and powerful collaboration tools, including multi-sharing, polling, and group chats to meet the needs of today's students

and allow administrative staff across the school to meet face-to-face for better alignment and clarity [4].
