The article deals with the advantages of learning English as a foreign language by law students through the introduction of digital resources. The issues reflecting the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process with the use of digital tools that significantly affect the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students are analyzed. The author examines the concept of “digitalization” in the context of higher education as well as the working conditions of teachers with digital educational tools that contribute to the improvement of the English language skills. The introduction of digitalization tools into the educational process has radically changed the conditions for learning a foreign language in a non-linguistic university giving students the opportunity to improve their speaking and writing skills when working with authentic materials. The article outlines the role of webinars as one of the opportunities to better English speaking skills.

Преимущества изучения английского языка как иностранного в юридическом вузе в контексте цифровизации

В статье рассматриваются преимущества изучения английского языка как иностранного студентами-юристами с помощью внедрения цифровых ресурсов. Анализируются вопросы, отражающие особенности организации учебного процесса с применением цифровых инструментов, которые существенно влияют на формирование иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции студентов. Автор рассматривает понятие «цифровизация» в контексте высшей школы, а также условия работы преподавателей с цифровыми образовательными средствами, которые способствуют совершенствованию знаний английского языка. Внедрение средств цифровизации в образовательный процесс кардинально изменило условия изучения иностранного языка в неязыковом вузе, предоставив студентам возможность улучшать навыки говорения и письма при работе с аутентичными материалами. В статье обозначена роль вебинаров как одна из возможностей для улучшения навыков устной речи на английском языке.

Digitalization has radically changed the global processes and it has been fully implemented into the field of education. The traditional education is known to be teacher-oriented although through the decades it has become obvious that this traditional educational tendency has largely altered in the course of contemporary technological progress.

Digital technology has become an integral part of our lives, even in areas such as learning a foreign language. Information technology and digital tools for foreign language education are becoming more and more important and are widely used in education around the world.

The introduction of technology into the sphere of education has undoubtedly become a great tool for creating opportunities for communication, exchanging ideas and advancing interactive language learning techniques. The use of digital tools has a positive result in foreign language teaching/learning as they 'are intrinsic tools in many educational institutions. Their implementation increases the scope of teaching. It provides quality learning materials and creating autonomy of learning' [1]. Digitalization seems beneficial within the learning process as some technology tools are sure to bring excitement and encouragement to the law-oriented classroom.

The aim of the article is to highlight the advantages of digital performance in education. Digitalization itself is not a systematic approach, but it only helps implement existing methods and provides new types of activity within these methods as needed.

After the computer-based training systems seminar which was held in 1999, the world was introduced a term 'e-learning' and the idea of using digitalized tools in both teaching and learning environment. This concept has developed for many years into 'digital education' what we are familiar with today.

Technology is an integral part of contemporary life and is an important phenomenon of this era. 'The vital role of technology is becoming the main engine of growth and progress. It is so predominant that individual feels outdating if not using it. The effect of this powerful technology has encompassed all aspects of the educational business and economic sectors of our world' [7].

As the Internet is getting more and more widespread it is vital for foreign language learners to realize how to maintain a qualitative online presence and contact other students via email and other social media. 'Although the potential of the Internet for educational use has not been fully explored yet, it is obvious that we have entered a new information age' [4]. It is worth mentioning that you cannot be taught a foreign

language by Internet, but if you are passionate about a language you're learning, it will assist you to learn a foreign language in ways that were previously impossible.

Contemporary learning means working with others to solve difficult tasks, think critically, develop various kinds of communication and team working skills, improve motivation and efficiency.

Digital technology is a mechanism for effectively providing information and knowledge to students, creating teaching materials and effective teaching methods, and above all, a tool for creating an innovative language learning environment. One of the most important goals of digital transformation is the effective and flexible application of technological resources into the educational atmosphere.

Technology-based foreign language learning enhances student involvement to improve the education experience. Online apps and resources are known to have numerous resources to create a friendly student environment that is useful for presentations and overall learning performance.

Implementation of digitalized methods into the law student environment assist to better their skills and abilities. It is worth mentioning that when learning a foreign language, English in particular, all students are required to have equal access to all these technological innovations.

Students of law universities get easily excited and intrigued when it comes to using technology. If a foreign language teacher implements digital mechanisms into the classroom, students get an immediate access to various photos and videos and other graphical images.

Law students find it advantageous and helpful to perform their works and presentations on laptops, tablets as well as other electronically-based devices. Besides, when getting ready for their future foreign language class they are known to make use of different apps to make their performance more special and advanced. Undoubtedly, various software and immediate access to information assists constantly students to update learning performance and better their presentation skills. In case a student does not comprehend a language-oriented topic in class, she/he is able to seize the opportunity by watching the explanation video episodes on the Internet and consequently, students become much more self-confident.

Digitalization gives them an opportunity to explore a lot of language issues, read and get professional advice and comments on success from competent people. Students are even allowed to connect online with the university professor to get their language problems analyzed. Online learning environment perfects team working and knowledge sharing between both teachers and students.

It is necessary to highlight that the majority of the researchers distinguish more pros than cons of digital-izing the sphere of English language teaching. Some language teachers are of the opinion that digitaliza-tion hinders the learning process since most students tend to be seriously dependent on electronic devices

rather than developing their brain for thinking activities. However, nowadays advantages of using technology within the educational sphere prevail over their insignificant number of drawbacks as 'with technology integrated into education, teachers can now incorporate images, videos, and other graphics when delivering lessons' [2].

Numerous tips on using technology in a class are also knowledgeable and beneficial for language teachers as they can feel free to use many trusted online resources, a variety of apps to encourage students. A variety of digitalized tools available to use such as interactive whiteboards, email, Zoom, Skype, etc. 'Technology also provides instant feedback on language performance in various tasks and exercises. Technology can also be an extension of the classroom and can be time saving' [6].

By coming into contact with digitalized devices both in school and university, students will less be afraid of technology in the future when it comes to climbing up a career ladder. Tech savvy students are sure to perform better results when receiving and delivering information as they find it easy to adapt quickly to the digital learning process.

Currently when learning a foreign language, implementation of advanced technology appears to be very essential and students are required to have access to all online target language-oriented resources. Although some believe that digital tools and their use are less efficient.

Technology unites students and get them immediately involved into the learning process. Traditional ways of language learning are known to be limited to reading and speaking. A learner reads the appropriate language-oriented resources and listens to the authentic recordings on a tape. But if a student visits a country where the target language is used, he/she is sure to have many more opportunities to speak a foreign language fluently.

Technological development has become a great source of innovative learning methods. Students learning a target language are able to chat with native speakers of English all days long. The online dictionaries are perfectly provided with audio to ensure correct pronunciation. Youtube viewers can enjoy watching their favorite movies with or without subtitles. Thus, it is easy for students learning a foreign language to get involved completely into a target language environment. Students are surrounded with authentic texts, audio/video resources that enable them to develop all required skills. One of them is speaking which 'is a fundamental skill but quite often students learning English as a foreign language cannot speak it proficiently and fluently' [5].

Due to the advanced development of digital technologies, there is a huge need for their application into the field of education in particular. Undoubtedly, as the computer has established in the world, it has also become popular in getting an essential role in the educational process. This role is becoming more influential as computers become less expensive, much smaller, and easier to use.

Mobile digital devices including laptops, iPods, tablets, smart phones enable to learn the English language much easier. Nowadays various applications which can be effortlessly be downloaded in the App store and Play store (Android) markets. These online tools provide law students with quizzes, games, dictionaries, podcasts, tests, etc. A great variety of mobile applications can function as a private foreign language teacher. Among most recognized mobile apps students can make use of Dictionary.com, Hangman, Grammar's, Quizmaster, Mobile Air Mouse, English Idioms Illustrated, etc.

It is vital to highlight that webinars are considered to be one of the best examples for online language learning. According to S. Ammani, 'webinar is an interactive seminar conducted via the World Wide Web. Usually a live presentation, lecture or work-shop that happens in real time as users participate through chatting, video-chatting, file-sharing or asking questions with a microphone' [1].

When analyzing pros of teaching/learning a foreign language in law universities in the context of digitaliza-tion, it is essential to underline that both teachers and learners can easily get the necessary information within the shortest period of time. Law students get much more advanced due to the help of e-learning. Digital tools provide the required information to both students and university professors that will be helpful for them to succeed in the competitive world. Foreign language classes which include multimedia apps can perform powerful encouragement and offer bored learners with challenging innovative techniques to learn.

Technology enables learners and university professors to communicate freely online. Several technological tools that are commonly used as 'the medium of information are: 1) Email, which allows language learners to communicate with 'web pals' in other countries; 2) Tandem learning; 3) computer mediated discussion; 4) web-based learning environment; 5) audio conferencing; 6) Video Conferencing' [3].

With the help of tech-oriented tools students and teachers are able to work with contemporary and authentic resources. Electronic devices facilitate the learner's interaction during developing language

team-working skills as well as enable learners to study independently.
