SPORTSMEN'S PSYCHOPHYSICAL STATEMENTS UNDER THE CONDITIONS

OF BEING IN THE MOUNTAINS

Summary

The article describes factors which affect alpine tourists' heath being in the mountains

Keywords Heath, sport, tourism

For all the time mountain hiking and alpine tourism has become very popular and the searching of sportsmen's psychophysical statements could increase the level of their training during the trip. It also could minimize the exposure to diseases and conduct safety meeting for tourist group and their leaders [1, с. 155].

The scientists offer the classification of heights level by degree of human exposure:

- low-hill terrain (1000 m/ 3280.84 feet). An individual doesn't fell the lack of oxygen even if he/she work

hard;

- middle altitude (1000 - 3000m/3280.84 - 9842.52 feet). An organism compensates the lack of oxygen easily;

- high mountain region (over 3000m / 9842.52 feet). A human organism takes on the changes due to the peccant lack of oxygen.

As for high mountain region it may be divided, at the same time, into some subcategories:

- complete acclimatization zone (5200-5300m/ 17060,37 - 17388,45 feet). A human organism liquidates symptoms of hypoxia and other negative factors successfully. Because of that there are some full-time working organizations and emergency stations at such kind of height;

- incomplete acclimatization zone (6000m/19685,04 feet). Here a human can't offset effect of height, an organism doesn't compensate hypoxia. Weariness, weight loop, amyotrophia arise as a result of long standing in conditions of the lack of oxygen;

- Adaptation zone (7000m/22965,88 feet). There are evident signs of hypoxia. An adaptation at this height is impermanent and temporary;

- incomplete adaptation zone(8000m/26246,72 feet). Staying in this zone during 6-7 days is dangerous because an organism can't furnish even its most important systems. So, substandard performance causes the lack of restoration to health and strength. Also there is an dehydration at such a height.

- Limited (lethal) zone - over (8000m/26246,72 feet). An individual can stay at such a height just 2 or 3 days. The period of adaptation depends on the individual characteristics of the organism, environmental features and the level of training. The adaptation at the 4000-5000m elevation is usually 5-12 days. But even when it finished, the human reaction has been still deferred to take hurdles. There are some psychological difficulties which every tourist runs into at the beginning of his trip and also in the future [4, с. 35].

The necessarily to change the style of life, for example, to wake up at 6 a.m. every day, to submit to

discipline, do the leader's bidding on the territory of the bivouac and so on [3, с. 160].

Fear of being awkward during doing exercises. Often adults are afraid of mockery as well as children because they have to do things they had never done before, such as put on chest harness and live in camping site.

Obsessive-compulsive reaction and panic attack in case of danger. Sometimes a tourist thought moving through the gorge that he/she couldn't get it over. Therefore he/she felt a panic attack and seemed to fall down.

Stress in general. It's hard to initiate the moment of stress and depression start because every type of climbing is an extreme sport. However, stress always makes havoc even when the group is running rather simple line that often become the main reason of climbers' sudden death.

Another kind of factors, the so-called height sickness, also affects sportsmen's well-being. It includes tumultuous dream, loss of appetite, loop of coordination, headache and nausea; cardiac abnormalities and amnesia are the most dangerous symptoms [2, с. 125].

In conclusion I could say that the tourists' training is a routine process that would be the reason of mental stumbling blocks. That is why the teacher have to know all about that statements to get rid young tourists of them and be self-confident during some trips.
