LEVEL OF CARDIORESPIRATORY DESYNCHRONIZATION AT STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS CLIMATOGEOGRAPHICAL REGIONS. Albert Souren (USA)*, Shastun S.A. (chief scientist)*. Moscow, PFU, Medical Faculty, Department of Normal Physiology.
Background. Recent experimental studies suggest that there is evidence for a desynchronization between human heartbeat and respiration.
The research of a functional condition and regulatory abilities of an organism will be incomplete if not to consider respiratory system which, as well as a rhythm of heart, reflects a condition of vegetative regulation.
We develop a physiologically plausible model for this cardiorespiratory desynchronization, and numerically show that the model can exhibit stable desynchronization during seasonal perturbations.
Оbjective: to study what challenges to African’s and Russian’s students organism give seasonal rhythms and estimate cardiorespiratory desynchronization during contrast winter-summer seasons.
Materials and Methods: To quantify the cardiorespiratory desynchronization in phase of respiration and heart rate was assessed. Researches with first group were carried out on practically healthy 27 African students of the first year education from Nigeria and Tanzania. Second group were studied with 32 healthy controls subjects from of Moscow. The basic parameters of cardiovascular system with method of variability of heart rate (HRV) were investigated. Functions of respiratory system were studied with by means Spirometer “Spirobank D” (MIR Italy). According Koppen Climate Classification System students from the Central Africa lived in a climatic zone at humid subtropics, and students from Moscow - in a zone of a mid-continental climate. Chronobiological desynchronization parameters were studied during contrast seasons: winter - summer.
Results: Our analytical approach show that: Heart rate variability (HRV) and Breath Pattern Variability (BPV) was used us as the marker of the seasonal rhythms among African and Russian Students. High level in the winter period of capacity low-frequency (LF) component of HRV with desynchronization Breath Pattern Variability (BPV) (histogram BPV amodal type) at African students and mid-level same parameters at Russian students means more good functional capabilities in residents. In summer time students from both groups have no abnormalities with cardiorespiratory desynchronization.
Nonlinear least-squares regression and a seasonal phase was assigned that mesor in relations between minute volume of ventilation (MVV) to minute volume of blood circulation (MVBC) in winter-time for African students was 1.8±0.1 units and for Russian students 1.2±0.2 units (P<0.05). This cardiorespiratory desynchronization means that at resident’s have reactions with prevails respiratory system, and at the African students - reaction of cardiovascular system.
Conclusion: Was shown, that high level in the winter period of capacity low-frequency (LF) component of HRV with desynchronization Breath Pattern Variability (BPV) (histogram BPV amodal type) at African students and mid-level same parameters at Russian students means more good functional capabilities in residents. In summer time students from both groups have no abnormalities with cardiorespiratory desynchronization.
These data suggest that summer-time environment protects against cardiorespiratory desynchronization in African and Russian students first-year education.
